We got married at Shepherd’s Hollow earlier this month and truly cannot recommend their team enough! The venue is absolutely stunning, but what really makes it special is how much they care about their couples. From the very beginning, they made sure everything felt easy, fun, and stress-free. They were so responsive throughout the planning process and always quick to help bring any idea to life. They also work with so many amazing vendors, which makes everything flow so smoothly. We used several of their recommended vendors for photography, florals, and entertainment, and all were fantastic. If you’re having a band, they even handle providing the stage for you (for a fee), which is such a lifesaver since you don’t have to worry about outsourcing that part. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and every detail was handled beautifully. Our venue coordinator, Alex Premo, was one of our absolute favorite people we worked with during the entire wedding process. She’s so kind, calm, and organized, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. If you’re getting married at Shepherd’s Hollow, ask for Alex! We couldn’t be happier that we chose Shepherd’s Hollow for our wedding day. It was everything we hoped for and more!

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous — every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. The setting is just breathtaking and makes for the most incredible backdrop. From the start, communication and organization were great. Anytime we had questions, the team was extremely responsive and always provided clear answers that made sense. They truly know what they’re doing. Our coordinator, Jenna, was OUT OF THIS WORLD. She was so organized, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything ran perfectly and made me feel so calm and relaxed. I genuinely didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The food was AMAZING — we received multiple compliments from guests about how great it was, which was so important to us. They also work with fantastic vendors, which made the entire planning process feel smooth and seamless. The only thing to be aware of is that prices are subject to change even after securing your date, so just be prepared to stay flexible. I also wish there had been one large document outlining all pricing, options, and add-ons instead of multiple separate documents. It made organizing everything a little more difficult at times — but honestly, this was easy to overlook because the team was always so helpful and communicative. If it’s within your budget, I would absolutely recommend Shepherd’s Hollow. It was truly an unforgettable experience! ✨

Did the stay and play. Beautiful drive in to a stunning club house. Everything was kept in very nice shape, pro shop had anything you could have needed. Every staff member was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant / bar has a great selection of food and drinks and very reasonable prices. Beautiful patio. Stellar 27 hole golf course, challenging but rewarding. Course was in phenomenal shape!!. Will definitely play here again!!!

This is one of the top premier public courses in Oakland County. With 27 holes, you'll see a challenging but playable championship style layout. The course is always kept up very well with clean tee boxes, well groomed fairways and rough, and greens that are humbling but fun. The clubhouse is spacious with a nice pro shop and facilities. The banquet center is a beautiful design for your special event needs and friendly staff

Picking SH as our wedding venues was one of the best decisions we made. They make it so easy to decide on the major vendors in the early planning phase, as their recommended vendor list is spot on! Our biggest draw to SH was the on-site coordinator and caterer. I was out of state, and Alex made everything easier than I could have imagined. She was patient as I changed my mind and offered opinions when I was indecisive. She goes above and beyond to make sure not only my husband and I were taken care of, but also our families on wedding day. Our wedding was 6 weeks ago and our guests still tell us how much they loved our wedding! From the breathtaking venue to the top-tier kitchen and wait staff that provide the most delicious meal, every detailed is accounted for and it doesn’t go unnoticed! If you’re on the fence, just book with SH. You won’t be disappointed!
