First Desiree is absolutely amazing. There is nothing she could have done that would have made this event even more amazing. The wait staff and bartenders were also fantastic. My only suggestion would be to train the wait staff to leave desserts on the guest tables longer. Many people had their desserts taken while they were at the Photo Booth or dance floor. The event space is beautiful. A couple minor things you could consider; some of the seat covers are quite stained as well as a few of the toilets. I realize the toilets are probably stained from well water, but it is unexpected when the event space is so beautiful.

Golden Hawk made our wedding day truly special. The ceremony was absolutely perfect. There was a chance of rain, but the team handled it so well. They timed everything perfectly and helped us decide between having the ceremony indoors or outdoors. The reception was fantastic! Our guests still talk about how amazing the food was. The servers and bartenders went above and beyond to keep everyone happy and taken care of. Overall, Golden Hawk did a wonderful job from start to finish. We would 100% recommend hosting your special day with them!

My fiance and I absolutely loved this venue, not only for the beautiful setting but for the convenience of providing multiple services through them (outdoor ceremony, reception, open bar, and catering). It just took our breath away how lovely the reception space was without being overwhelming, with its simple but elegant decor and high ceiling and chandelier. It was perfect for our wedding size, since total capacity of the hall was ~ 230-250 people and we had ~ 120 guests, so it was roomy and pleasant for everyone who attended. And the outdoor ceremony area was also perfect, and the trees helped shade the guests for the day and overall kept the temperature cool (weather was supposed to be over 80 degrees that day but it actually felt very comfortable!). The golf course was beautiful to take pictures at, and my photographer and the venue manager Monique collaborated to have us take photos in several scenic areas. Monique directly took care of us during the reception, and I wanted to mention a small detail I noticed. I had originally asked for a certain beer at the reception but it was not possible, since the beer did not come in a keg. So we chose a different beer and were understanding, but I noticed that during the wedding, Monique was making sure we had drinks and was constantly supplying my husband with cans of the beer we had originally requested :) He even told me that when he approached the bar for drinks during reception, the bartenders also offered him that original brand of beer as well. I appreciated this gesture from the staff, trying to accommodate us as best as they could. It made me smile to see how caring and attentive they were. The food was also delicious, and served in courses. I like having the variety (duet-plated) meals, and the appetizers were a huge hit (they ran out by the time we came back from our Romantics session, but of course found some for us as the bride and groom when we asked). I loved the overall design of the reception space too, perfect for DJ, our sweetheart table, and the guests framing the large dance floor. The temperature was perfectly controlled in the reception hall too, kept cool to keep all the guests comfortable even while we danced and made merry!

Pretty nice course! Not to easy, not to hard, greens are nice, the fairways need a little work (they were working on it) but the majority is nice. Staff was very friendly. One thing I will note, I was the first out this day and noticed that all the trash bins were not cleaned out from the night before. Not a huge deal but almost all had been tipped over by wildlife and left a mess at each hole. But will definitely play again, the course is pretty!

We had my daughters bridal shower here this past weekend. Macy and her staff did such a great job! They helped us create the setting we were looking for. The patio was absolutely gorgeous, and even when we had a tiny seating issue- they were quick to bring out another table and chairs. All of our guests complimented how beautiful it was and most importantly- how good the food was! Nothing we selected was disappointing. The men in the wedding party enjoyed golf while us ladies had our "tea time"... such a perfect day! We We are very excited for her upcoming wedding at Golden Hawk.
