Excellent up north golf! Lush and well manicured. Nice pace on a weekend morning, enjoyed our round.

The course is actually decently well kept and a bit challenging. Greens are fast and unpredictable. But here’s my biggest issue: We had a pretty big issue when we golfed here about three years ago and overall had a pretty negative experience. We decided to come back after we found out the course had been bought and is under new management. My group had booked two tee times because we had six people. When we got to the first tee, the starter admitted there wasn’t many tee times booked behind us and noted that as long as our whole group of six played a scramble and kept up with the group in front of us, we should have no issues. We fully understand golf is meant to be played in groups of four to keep pace of play. It started becoming an issue when the group behind us called the clubhouse to complain that we were golfing in a group of six. I’d like to note that we waited on every single tee box for the group in front of us to tee off, we were not playing slow what so ever. The ranger ended up coming out and talking to the group behind us to address their concerns. His response? “Drive into them.” This was admitted when the ranger came up to tell our group we could not play as a group of six. When we said “well the group behind us drove into us and their ball hit our rear carts tire” his reply was “I told them to.” If you want to tell us we can’t golf in a group of six, fine. It’s absolutely disgusting that a ranger (who was wearing a Fourth of July graphic tee, looked like he rolled in off the street while the rest of the employees all were dressed professionally) would tell another group to drive their ball into them. One well hit ball could hit someone in the head and inevitably kill somebody. It also makes 0 sense when you can see the green from the tee box. So if you can see the group in front of us on the green, us in the fairway waiting, why on earth would you tee off? I couldn’t be more disappointed in the way things were handled. When the ranger called (I assume who was) the manager to address our complaints was that it does not matter if we are keeping pace of play. The perception we give off as playing a group of six is negative. The hole that the complaint came on, two of our golfers weren’t even playing. Two of the golfers only liked to drive the ball and hit here and there. I’d rather sell my golf clubs than to ever come back to this establishment. Honestly I don’t really care that we were playing as a group of six. We kept pace of play and a ranger told the group behind us to hit into us. Keep in mind, their ball hit our tire. Would highly not recommend this golf course. There are much nicer golf courses in the area with way better management.

What a beautiful course, if I lived nearer, I would get a membership immediately. I was so impressed, I've played so many courses, this one is definitely in the top ten. Truly beautiful, so well maintained. Really fell in love with this course!

Great course, challenging as well as beautiful! I will be back for a round of golf. The restaurant had good choices and the food was alright, the bar had a good selection of drinks and a daily special.

Fantastic course, very well maintained, and delivers that "Up North" environment. Everyone I met was nice and I could sense the pride the members had in their gem of a golf course!
