Rochester Golf Club is a fantastic golf course. The course itself offers some great challenges, and has a very good variety of holes to keep it fresh. They dont have online tee times, so when making a tee time you have to call in on Thursday mornings but this old school way of doing things is part of the charm of the course. Golf carts are limited, for those who are handicapped or of a certain age (I believe its 50 but could be wrong) but the course is a very pleasant walk. Drinks are priced extremely well, and the course rate is very affordable. Rochester is one of my favorite courses around this area, and you should definitely check it out if your looking for a nice round of golf!

What hidden gem of golf course. Played this past Monday. First time playing here. The tee boxes are in great shape. Fairway as are perfect. The greens are in great shape and challenging. Not a long course but it's challenging. I want to compliment greens keeper and staff. For keeping this course in such great shape. The staff is very pleasant. The course is in good shape. It's a shorter 18 hole course about 5300 yards from the blue tees. Good layout and some challenging holes where water comes into play. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Grab a draft beer and a hotdog in the clubhouse after your round. I will be back soon.

The course is truly a hidden gem. Beautiful fairways, challenging greens and good prices. Limited on powered carts, but plenty of pull carts.

I had the worst experience at the Rochester Golf Club today.The grounds maintenance staff member was the worst I've ever seen. There were many things wrong and I'll put them in order. 1) When we were putting, he was close by with a mower at full throttle, sitting there on his cell phone. My days working at a real golf course, we were told to idle down and stay a safe distance away, shut the mower down, as not to interrupt the players. He didn't care at all. 2) As we were ready to tee off, he rides up to the green, pulls the flag and proceeds to cut the green. We had to wait until he was completely done before we could continue our round. 3) On the last hole he decides to go in front of us and decides it's time to water the green. Mind you, this isn't early in the morning, it's 12:00 noon. I hit the ball and he yelled vulgar profanity at me. I told him he shouldn't be doing green maintenance knowing we were about to tee off. Typically, at a good golf course the grounds crew are off the fairways, greens, before customers start play. And if not, the grounds crew was always considerate of players as they were golfing. This was a rude grounds person. With so many nice golf courses around, there is no need to deal with such rude course employees.
