We had a great time at this 9-hole course. It’s well maintained, and the 6th hole is especially nice. You can also rent clubs here, which was really convenient for us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful: Peter helped us book our tee time, Savannah showed us around, and Kurt tried to help us find a club we left behind. The other players around our tee time were also really considerate. Even though we were a bit slow (it was my parents’ first time on a golf course), everyone was patient and kind, and we let faster groups play through. Overall, a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We’d definitely come back.

This is, at least, and pretty interesting 9 holes of golf. And at $20 to walk the price is right. It's more muni than private, which is hardly a criticism. It's not very long, so you can do pretty well with driver in the trunk. If it's working for you though, by all means. The closer the better I say. And none of the holes are like the others, so some shot variety will be going on. There's also some lean to the fairways so you'll see some hanging, flying and otherwise not flat lies. Fairways had some bald spots, but it's been dry this year, ('25), and I played on 11/01. So... no reason to drop a star. We'll get to that. And this place is very walkable. There are a couple of dipsy do's but if you walk regularly this place is not a problem. The greens are the trick here, not long fairways. They are often guarded by traps, or elevated, or both of those on occasion. You won't be rolling it up around here unless a 6 yd gap is something you can hit with any confidence. It's mostly a forced carry over the front of the green, so you're mostly trying to land one in the back. When the pin is front is when you want to stop looking at it, for the most part. Greens were pretty good, again despite the dry weather. No bald spots or other clues. The breaks were mostly subtle since that putt that looks straight probably isn't. Then there are a couple that are more severe, like 6 & 7. They aren't huge so being a shorter ish course is a help in that regard. I dropped a star because the practice area is a green off of the first tee, and that's it. And it wasn't representative of the course. It was much harder and way faster. I gotta warm up, at least a little. Now I feel kinda guilty because a proper warm up is on me. The locals here could do with some etiquette reminders though. fixing ball marks in particular. There were a ton. Do better Northfield patrons. But other than this one thing, I've found the general atmosphere to be friendly. The kind of place that always lets a single play through. Maybe not always, but you know what I'm saying. Maybe not Ryne. I don't think he plays golf. Maybe not Gary either who thinks going out 2 on Memorial day is a thing. It's a fun and interesting 9 holer that emphasizes approach shots. Pay attention to what's around the greens and you should do just fine. If you're close by you should try it.

Lovely course, well maintained, reasonable pricing. My wife and I like to walk 9. Putting green is excellent. They now open for T-times at 8am. Great people!

Friendly people, good walking course, too. The greens are in great shape, and the greens fees are reasonable.
