I had a great 4-star experience at Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds. The course is beautifully maintained and offers a wonderfully walkable layout that winds through a quiet, tree-lined parkland. I particularly enjoyed the receptive, well-bunkered greens and the fact that the course is a certified Audubon Sanctuary, which really adds to the peaceful, natural atmosphere while you play.

Challenging, hilly course in great shape for early May. Restaurant/bar ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to playing here again sometime.

It was a rainy rainy day. 16 of us got together to play a round of golf. My first contact was the pro shop. Very nice person with quick answers to all my inquiries. Then the restaurant. The bartender was pleasant. She seemed pleased when she learned we had 16 coming. The breakfast looked amazing. The course was in great shape but wet because of a lot of rain. Greens were recently punched but still good. After the round, we gathered in the in the restaurant. Burgers and service were amazing. I was surprised how many folks come to the course just to eat at the restaurant. Good food, service, and cost is why. Can't wait to come back.

One of my new favorite courses. What a fun and interesting course. It was my first time playing it and really want to play it again knowing where to it a few of those blind shots. Fairways, traps and greens where all in good shape. Greens where punched but still in really good shape.
