Nice people, place and course. Additionally we rented their Finn Golf Scooter (motorcycle style), it was fun and faster to get through the course. Each player is able to search for their ball quicker and play at their individual pace.

Seriously? Seriously? This course is a joke. It is not a playable course at all. If I could give negative, I definitely would. Tee boxes and fairways are definitely need a lot of works. All grasses are so dry and short and there are lots of weeds on fairways. There is no borderline between rough and fairways. Even if you can see it, no difference. Only reason I gave one start is because greens look better than fairways and tee boxes. However, greens are so dry and I think they need to water them, but they were clean though. The layout of a whole course is simple and easy. I spent a lot of time on finding next holes because signs were missing,even though the path leads one way, Back 9 could be more fun if it was maintained well. Interestingly one of Par 5 has a length of more than 600 yard, which I don't think it's necessary. There were a few of dog-leg holes but most of them was laid out straight. There was a hot deal and it was great- only $14 for 18 holes with a cart, but even I thought I was going to leave when I saw the tee box and the fairway at Hole #1.

Great course that’s in great condition and at an affordable price point on the weekends! There was a frost delay this morning and the staff communicated that and made sure to get us out first as we had the first tee time of the day. I’ve always said when it comes to golf I’ll take the inconvenience of a delay, cart path only or rain check if it’s because the course is being cared for. Thank you to the course for taking care of the course this morning! My biggest thank you was that when I accidentally left my wedge at a hole and let the clubhouse know that Pam was quick to take my contact information and club description and she called me not long after I left to let me know someone turned it in. I’ve never left a club behind before so to not only have some one be honest turn it in but also the club make it a priority to let me know it was turned in is a great feeling. I’ve unfortunately tried to turn in a club at another public course before and they told me they don’t take lost clubs and to keep it. Golf clubs are expensive so that was a bad experience. Not at maple run though. Thank you Pam for making it a priority to let me know my club was found and for getting it to when I came back in! Great customer service!

My grandsons and I played golf at Maple Run Golf Course in Thurmont. We had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. We rented two sets of clubs. We played 18 holes. The course was challenging but who doesn't like challenging! The course is not in the best shape but we still enjoyed our time there and want to come back to improve upon our scores.

Really great course and you can't beat the price! Beautiful scenery on all holes, back 9 is gorgeous and tree lined. Can't wait to play again, well worth the drive.
