A really good course and they give a generous military discount! Greens and fairways are really good. Pace of play was solid. 36 holes and a good practice facility.

Compass Pointe is a really nice course. The conditions are solid, and I like that they have both the North and South courses on the same property, even though I always mix up which is which. Both play well, but one of them is definitely tighter off the tee and a bit more challenging. The greens roll about the same on both layouts; speed and pace are everything if you want to score. Overall, I’d rate both courses a strong 4 out of 5. They take good care of the grounds, the practice range is solid, and the staff is friendly and on point. The place runs like a well-oiled machine. The $80 fee is a little up there, but honestly, it’s worth it. I’d rank Compass Pointe above most courses in the area. It’s on par with The Woodlands in Baltimore and, for value and price point, I think it’s better than Lake Presidential. For a public course, it’s a very solid choice.

Absolute fantastic time at Compass Pointe today! The staff and facilities were top-notch and so clean! Truly enjoyed the gazebo, and how well kept and attended to that we were! Ample parking, plenty of golf carts and gorgeous landscaping!!

This is a great course! My team played the southwest course. There are a few par 5s which add a nice challenge. The grounds appeared to be well taken care of. I'm new to golf but really enjoyed the course. I highly recommend playing here.

Compared to last year, the golf course conditions were excellent. We played the North East course, and I was surprised at how good this course was... It was very well maintained, with almost no bugs, and the staff were extremely friendly.
