The course often demands strong driving—both distance and placement—because angles into greens matter and hazards are positioned to challenge aggressive lines. Approaches typically require commitment and precise distance control, especially when greens are firm or pins are set on more exacting sections. Around the greens, touch and creativity become essential, as recoveries can be demanding and punishment escalates quickly if you short-side yourself. Caves Valley feels like championship golf: striking scenery, serious test, and a round that sticks with you long after the last hole.

Great Place to see a PGA event! Easy travel to the golf course by air conditioned bus from Owings Mills subway station. However, when attending the event food a beverage is very expensive. 16 dollars for a large beer or a small craft cocktail. 13.50 for a cheese burger and no sides. Loved the hydration stations that had free water bottle fill ups, sunscreen and misting fans!

The best golf experience I’ve ever had. The course is spectacular, with lightning-fast greens that are tough but fun to read. The facilities are beautiful, and the food was excellent as well. Everything about the experience felt top notch.

Such a spectacular experience the entire day. Course is challenging, beautiful and fair. The caddies are uniformly engaging, helpful and encouraging. Aside from the golf, the facilities, foodservice and amenities are all top notch. I've been fortunate to play here about half a dozen times. Can't wait to do it again.
