Playing Contraband Bayou was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating with a well stocked clubhouse. The course was in great condition and well maintained. The greens were nice rolled well with moderate speed. The layout of the course was fun yet challenging with ample water and bunkering surrounding the course. The cart paths well marked in good condition. We played a tournament while there and facilities were well received. I would play Contraband again.

Really great staff. Everyone is there to help and make sure you have a wonderful outing. Course was playing really well. Greens and fairways in great shape. Plenty of wildlife.

Tim, the Golf Pro, is fantastic! I took two lessons while vacationing in the area after not having played since prior to Covid. As an experienced 40-year female player, on hiatus, I was a bit apprehensive about getting back on the course. Tim's gentle encouraging manner, while giving clear instruction, helped me regain my muscle memory and ingrained fundamentals. Ladies, don't be intimidated, he can help you get back on the course or teach you the wonderful game of golf. His knowledge is unparalleled. He should really double or triple his hourly rate. The pro shop also has a nice selection of women's golf apparel. Very pleased.

Overall decent golf course. Challenging with water hazards and bunkers. The golf shop isn’t great but works. The greens could have been better. This is better than mallard golf course.

Love this course!!! Great outings with family and friends can be had here. Watch out for gators you dont really need that ball do you?
