The woman at the counter was nice and answered our questions. However, we were told we couldn't share clubs and would have to rent 2 sets for our 4 man. Ok np, as we play we observe no exaggeration 5 different groups sharing clubs. Two different groups were riding around playing music loudly. We were told we needed to pick up the pace even though we have been letting other play through. Greens are brown and compacted. Tee boxes are like concrete no grass at all. We payed for 18 but stopped at 9, it's a horrible course. The pictures are fairway and tee boxes...crazy...

The course has so much potential, and it's genuinely good value. The back 9 in particular sets up to be quite a solid 9 that can be challenging and quite rewarding, especially playing into small, elevated greens. Where the course needs work in particular are tee boxes and greens. Most of the tee boxes are quite firm and can be difficult to put a tee in the ground, there's a couple in particular that look like they had been started on being redone, were levelled but never seeded so it's just clay. I enjoy playing on small greens, but they need work. They're definitely maintained for durability rather than how pure they run which in itself isn't an issue, it just makes them inconsistent to read. There's also no real fringe around the green, it's typically just rough and then green. Overall it's definitely a course worth your time, I hope the owners continue to work on bringing it up to it's potential.

Played 9 holes and they charged us for 18….told us “they don’t do that” when we asked to only be charged for 9 holes that we played. never happened to us before but not happy about it considering we were there for an hour and 20 minutes and obviously only played 9 holes!

Traveling to visit family from Texas. We are going tubing and I also had a family request to buy some blackout curtains. This map update says I went to Pines at North Park. I went to Walmart in Amite. My Holiday Inn hotel also had no breakfast, no gym, no pool open (tough situation). I went for a 3 Mile run in a nearby area and I was surrounded by Pine trees. Anyhow, aside from the hotel lack of amenities and only about 1/3 people wearing masks, things were ok.

This place is absolutely beautiful! I went for a wedding shower. A smaller facility, but, very old-fashioned and nice for a smaller shower, like the one I attended. I don't like that the golf course is right outside the back door though. I felt like at anytime one of the windows in the facility could be hit and broken by a golf ball.
