Description

Founded in 1905 and redesigned by Perry Maxwell, Topeka CC is one of the Midwests classic old line clubs. Its routing rolls across hilly terrain with tree lined fairways and Maxwells trademark push up greens. The par 71 course plays shorter than modern venues but remains exacting due to green complexes and angles. Practice facilities are extensive and have been modernized. The course continues to host state championships and elite amateur events.

Played in a Midwest Section Event and the course was in great condition and the greens were some of the best I've ever played.

The setting was nice and quiet. Elegant decor throughout the building, and attentive staff. The food was excellent! It was the most tender steak and chicken that I have had recently.
