Description

Laid out around Osage City Lake, this municipal 9 holer mixes two par 5s with a run of playable par 4s for a balanced test. Modest elevation changes and a few well placed trees influence angles more than brute length. Greens are on the small side and reward approaches played from the fairway. The course has an adjacent range and practice green that locals use heavily during school golf season. It's a welcoming muni with a vintage feel and a straightforward walk.

Well we went on the back side to fish off the dock. Nice, quiet relaxing.

The fairways are rough and the clubhouse was empty a few times. No pro shop. Grass was pretty long in some places. Most of the greens had dead grass spots. Everyone was very friendly but the course is rough and only 9 holes.

Nice small town 9 hole course. They're doing some renovations right now (tee boxes, sand traps, and switching the fairways to zoisia) but still a great little course. Update 02/23. All zoisia is in. Bunker finished. Open when the temperature is above 50.
