Description

Madison Country Club delivers traditional parkland golf with an emphasis on positioning from the tee. Doglegs and gently contoured fairways reward players who shape shots to preferred landing areas. Greens are medium in size with subtle interior movement that keeps approach play and putting honest. Crews work toward consistent green speeds and clean fairway lies. A welcoming clubhouse and practice areas support both casual play and member events.

Great course for amateurs. Pace of play is not bad, but on nicer days in early spring is when you will run into waiting for the group in front of you and rushing for the one behind you. They always allow walk-ins which also impeded the pace. It’s not always in the best of shape early season but it is not terribly priced, no more than $22 for 9 and no more than $32 for 18. As a student this is my go to course here in Richmond because it is so laid back.

I've hosted parties, weddings, baby showers, and more here! Such a wonderful venue! Having a drink at the bar is always a good time as well! Becoming a member or going for a round of golf, you can't go wrong! In the warmer months, you'll find my Dad here every Thursday& a lot of Fridays!
