Fairways and greens are in great shape. Bunkers are rough right now. Rates are reasonable and usually speed of play is great. No gps on the carts. Staff are all friendly, food and beverage are well above average.

Love this course. But there is no discount for playing a second round. They even charge full price for cart you already used. And there’s no gps on carts so bring your range finder.

Comedy Course Conditions If you ever want to pay for premium golf just to experience the emotional rollercoaster of “is this a golf course or a construction zone?”, Willowbend is your place. I’ve played many courses in Wichita, and this is easily the worst value I’ve seen yet, and somehow one of the more expensive. Cart paths: Pick your adventure…crumbling concrete, random gravel patches, or just… nothing. Greens: Slow, rough, and full of unrepaired divots. Major turf repairs looked like someone patched them with a garden shovel and a prayer. It felt like putting on shag carpet after a hail storm. Fairways & Rough: Fairways technically cut, but cratered with divots like they hosted artillery practice out there. Miss the fairway by two feet? Good luck. Rough was so overgrown I think I lost a ball to a small ecosystem. Bring a machete in your bag. Bunkers: Range from rock hard concrete dust to pebble pits that will chew up your wedges. Safety hazards: Exposed ground wire on a hole…oh no…I hope I don’t fall.. Customer experience: Asked about course conditions and got a “we’re doing projects” response said in the same tone a teenager uses when lying about cleaning their room. Hard denial energy. Then the cherry on top: player with us bought a Dr Pepper that was flat and expired since July 2025. It’s October. Called to let them know, was told “Call a guy tomorrow.” Outstanding. Final thoughts: Clubhouse looks fine when you walk in, then you get to hole one and the illusion ends. This course needs serious maintenance, communication, and quality control before charging premium prices. Right now it’s giving: “Private club pricing, muni level care, and abandoned lot landscaping.” Save your money. There are multiple Wichita courses that cost less and play 10× better.

Scot is rude and I had to call the police on him for grabbing me and yelling. He was fired from his last job and only got this job cause he was the cheapest guy to take it. I would go to any other golf club around the area if you have girls.

Great course big fairways and nice landscaping. It’s also actually nice to see a course with clean restrooms. My new favorite course open to the public in Wichita!
