The course was in great shape and the staff was very helpful. It's a typical Iowa 9 holer so know that coming in. A ranger would be my only recommendation to keep it humming along. All told I think it's a good value for the price, an accommodating staff, and a place I would recommend for others to play.

Played for the first time. Very well kept 9 hole course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in very good condition and very reasonable price. Clubhouse staff very courteous and helpful. I look forward to playing again.

Charge you to bring your own cart, rates are about average for a 9 hole course...season memberships went up drastically after new ownership. Overall better courses in the region for less $ and better kept greens and fairways

Attended a cross country event there. I'm no golfer, but have worked country club grounds crews in my younger years. I was blown away. With weeks of consistently stormy weather the grounds were surprisingly well maintained, greens, fairways and rough freshly mowed even though they were closed to golfing. Recent storm damaged had been cleaned up and removed! Not just out of the way, but out of sight! The attention to detail shows in the superintendent of this facility. If I was a golfer I would definitely return just for the views.

Nice little 9 hole course. Layout is a bit tight. Hole #5 is a par 3 with the #6 tee box right next to the green. #7 & #8 tee boxes are quite close to the previous greens also. Not necessarily a huge problem, but it forces you to pay attention to incoming shots from the group behind, and be prepared to yell "fore" if your own shot is a bit offline. Greens were in great shape when I played, but the fairways and rough had some spotty patches of dirt. Course lends itself to hitting draws, because there are at least 3-4 doglegs left, no real dogleg right, apart from hole #1, which lists a bit right after your initial tee shot. Water hazards in play on about half the holes, to keep you honest.
