Put my heart into this course for a year had wonderful results as the greenskeeper community loved our work just to have the board replace us with 0 communication then terminate my contract early to save themselves 3k of pay I set off to be paid for throughout the winter. Absolute TRASH

Solid design that is tight and plenty of dog legs. Greens and tee boxes are well maintained, but fairways and around the greens could use some work

Nobody is honoring tee times - why plan ahead when anybody can just show up (and complain about how many people are on the hole at once). The garbage cans are overflowing and the golf carts are full of trash and this is at 10:30AM. There are no snacks to purchase at the clubhouse & there’s a small drink selection. There are dandelions & mushrooms everywhere and tree branches need to be trimmed. Now that it’s open to the public & more money is being made, there are much-needed updates that should be started.

Not worth the rates they charge. It is just your typical small town Iowa 9 hole golf course. There is nothing special about it. Over priced. No water in ball washers. Someone is not doing there job. Parking lot needs to be repaved. Firm/hard sand traps, need tilling or sand replacement.

Maquoketa Country Club is a great place to go for a relaxing round of golf or a tasty beverage. The course is in excellent condition & the club staff are courteous & friendly. Their event center is very spacious & comfortable. A great place to have a class reunion, graduation party or celebrate your wedding. Lots of parking room & well trained staff on hand for all your needs.
