This is a great course. I played here on an oddly cold June day (6/12/23), which was unfortunate, but the gray clouds couldn't block out the beauty of this course. It's decently hilly, with very large trees, and thick rough that increases difficulty. I can only imagine the amount of limb-trimming that must have happened at this course, because most of these great trees don't have any branches below, idk, 30 feet. The course also has a meandering creek which is crossed by several attractive and sturdy stone-sided bridges. There's also an old cemetery in the middle, which I thought was cool. Another plus about this course is it's really easy to find your ball. All the trees are trimmed at the base, and it's honestly pretty open, with few waste areas. A sign on the door even read something like "If you can't play 9 in under two hours, don't play here." (See other commenters complaints about rude management, but I had no problems!) I have one complaint: playing from the blues (second furthest set of tees), the course is long for a par 70. Multiple 200+ yard par 3s (and that's not from the back tees!). There were some 400+ par 4s too. Oh well, I guess the senior tees at Rozella Ford are more appropriate for this 30 year old. 😩

Fri am tee time: What a great golf course. Greens fast, have to putt accurately and get the speed right or else lol. The gentleman behind the counter is a great resource for new patrons. Looking forward to teeing off here often.

Great course. Great staff. Called a week out from to get 3 tee times in a row. Had a big group of 12 guys and they fitted us in with no problem. Nice greens, tee boxes were well maintained, and the course was amazing. I will be back again!

I’ve tried to avoid writing this, but it needs to be said. Many people on here talk about the rudeness of the staff, and this is true. We had a run-in this morning with the owner, who met us on the course saying that our group of 6, that we had cleared with the woman at the front, because we were playing in a scramble, was too many. We had a group of 6 pass us earlier on hole 2. These people have taken one of the nicest public courses, and ran it into the ground. The maintenance on the course is horrible, each green had 4-5 different types of grass. Good luck finding a level spot on the dead-grass tee boxes. Hit it into a bunker? Don’t worry, they haven’t been raked in weeks, but if you so much as take longer than 4 hours to play a round, you’ll have the owner out on his cart harassing you to move or leave. The golf experience is ruined by the owners. They’ve removed so many trees and have this view of what pace of play should be, however, they constantly are allowing groups of 6,8,12 people to go out and ruin the day for everyone else, but if you want to play in a larger group it’s not allowed. You have to be friends of the owners to do this. Also, the price of a round does not match the course conditions. They charge ridiculous amounts of money for 18 and a cart ($55), when the course itself has been reduced to a shell of what it once was. Don’t waste your money here. Look at these reviews, and understand that quite a few are for the restaurant. Also, the 5 star reviews are from the owner or friends of the owner. Do us all a favor and sell the course. Let someone who knows how to run a course take over. Get a real pro to run the pro shop, and bring this place back. Don’t waste your time, go anywhere else, because it’s just not worth it.

so went and bought a memebership not knowing that to add on a cart would cost 1400 dollars more for 3 months. asked to refund it since i havent used it yet. the lady at the desk yelled a number at me and slammed the phone down. called the number she told me and the owner said " cannot refund due to using card" which jus isnt true. course was not bad but the staff jus ruins the experience. if u wanna play in warsaw jus stick to stone hendge. little more pricey but feels like a country club.
