The course was nice. Fairway grass could be shorter. Sometimes you can't tell where the Fairway ends and the rough begins. Reasonable price. Carts could use some upgrades. The service in the pro shop was excellent and friendly. Challenging course. I will be returning to play another round in the future.

Legacy Hills Golf Club is an excellent public course. One of the best designed public tracks in the area. Well maintained, with a challenging design and greens that require more than average effort to read the slope of the green. Plenty of water hazards and doglegs to navigate. Its design is akin to two separate courses. The front 9 is relatively short and narrower compared to modern course design, given it's one of the oldest courses in Indiana. The back 9 is newer and offers more length and a more interesting design, IMHO. We played in mid-October, so expect aerated greens. Our price to play was excellent for our outing. Our round finished in 3 hours 20 minutes, the pace of play was outstanding. I highly recommend Legacy Hills if you're in the area.

The course is in great shape. If you want all carts back at 6:15p for those who tee off at 2:10p, you really do need a ranger on the course to move slower golfers along. It was 1 of the slowest rounds I have ever golfed!

Really cool course. Front 9 is the oldest golf course in Indiana built in 1904, back 9 was built 100 years later. Great shape, par 5s play short but the par 3s are crazy long.

What a fun and challenging course! The clubhouse and pro shop were great; the golf pro was very welcoming as we checked in; and the staff was very friendly. Carts are well-maintained, and the course itself is a ton of fun! Changes in elevation, perfectly positioned bunkers, and scenic water hazards are just a few of the things you’ll encounter. The 18th hole is one of the best finishing holes I’ve ever played. We will definitely be back and are strongly considering a membership - we enjoyed the club that much! UPDATE - we did get a membership because Legacy is just that good! Bill, the pro, is a great guy, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to join the club.
