Live in the area follow on Facebook and couldn't wait to try the food I had been seeing in the pictures presentation of food is phenomenal along with the atmosphere. Took the wife on a date and was immediately let down they were out of prime rib when we arrived. So we got another plate that was pulled pork everything was ice cold my fried seemed like that had been in the deep fryer for an hour they were so hard I couldn't bite through them. Our salads tasted like the lettuce was washed in dish soap. The service was absolutely horribly slow our drinks were never refilled. We didn't even finish our food. I couldn't believe it was that bad after seeing all there Facebook post. We wont be going back. Some friends went a few months later and had a similar experience.

Disappointing visit. Yes, they were busy, but no one greeted or even acknowledged us when we came in and sat down. After about 5 minutes of wondering if we should stay or go, someone said they'd be with us soon. Water/ice had a very bad taste. $5 house salad was awesome! $30 BBQ rib/brisket special and $17 fish dinner were tasty but enormously overpriced for the portions received. Will be going to other more reasonably priced places in the future.

We had a company picnic here. Service and food was good. Seems a bit run down and the bathrooms were horrible. They were not clean. There was rust in the dirty toilets. We drove 5 miles down the road to use a clean restroom at a gas station. This place has potential to be better.

Very cool place. So much history and they've done some really nice renovation, especially outside. Food and service are both excellent.

As a wedding coordinator, we are given the opportunity to work with many vendors and it's not often that we find a venue owner more accommodating than Peter and the crew at Cold Springs. So willing to help with anything we ask of him What a beautiful place. So much history and sentimental charm. Great value to any couple looking for a location for their ceremony and reception. Hope to be back again soon.
