Going with three stars today to reflect on the improvements since this spring and knowing that If you could get on at VN or RH you likely won’t be reading this. This year has been brutal on turfgrass in the transition zone, and this on the heels of a terrible winter season for warm season grass and the drought of 2024. I would like to see how the greens fill in by late fall. Pics with the tee are from two different greens.

Played on 5/17/25 and this course is in awful shape. The greens were aerated, but done poorly. We didn’t even count our putts because it was a joke. The fairways have very little grass. Hitting off of dirt from most spots. I would not recommend. The course has a lot of potential, but it would require a lot of work. Gave 2 stars because the cheeseburger was good. Removed a star because the reply from the course shows the defensive nature of the management. Again, the course might be great now but when we played it was not in playable condition.

Steve and Dixie are absolutely incredible The fries are the best (Steve makes the best) The course is fun and also challenging. It’s so family friendly it gives my kids the opportunity to grow and explore their love for golf. BEST PLACE IN TOWN We LOVE you Steve and Dixie!!!!!!!! Rick you’re okay hahaha we like you too

I called to set a tee time and from the beginning the worker named Steve was very rude and kept interrupting me and treating me like a child. The course is fine and the prices are fair, but with workers like that there you’ll never want to play at BCC.

I was at the golf course, and my experience was not great due to Ron Bacon. He approached my family, and informed us that we had 15 minutes left to play when it was still very clearly light outside. He continued by saying “got it” as if I’m not an adult that can’t understand him. It is fine if we are needing to leave, but what is not fine is this gentleman talking to us the way he did. This is not the first occurrence that he has been rude while playing. He may be on the board, but for the sake of this business I would suggest that he learns some manners. I have heard from many people that when they see him there they expect nothing but for him to make so type of condescending remark. I love this course, but this man is starting to make the experience rather unlikeable.
