Thanks for hosting Buddy Check 22 in support of battling veteran suicide. This was my second Buddy Check event held here. The first event was back in early spring and the second was yesterday. The course looked great. Very nice greens. It's not your fault I am a terrible golfer 😉. The meal upstairs in the big room was very tasty. I look forward to coming back.

I would give it less ...the rudest woman even in the history of thr world ... we were caught in a storm we had to climb thr side of a hill rocks mud to get away from lightening and some woman that stays there looked me dead in the face and said the elk club is gonna be mad it private property and asked us to get off thr property I said we had to call for a ride we don't even know where we r we had to get off the river there was flash floods ... she said ya don't care it's private property I said please lady have a heart we will be back as soon as I get to my car ... like wow the picture below is our things it didn't take up that much space and there were like 7 other ppl all of us stranded but there were with a small party of ppl ...

Beautiful golden age course from Langford and Moreau. A must play if you’re in the area or a fan of classic golf architecture.

I have been playing this course for close to 10 years. I live in Miami and my wife's family is from this area so I bring my clubs and really look forward to playing the Elks when we visit because it is a gem. I've played the Blue Monster and Torrey and every course around Miami and Elks is still at the top of my list of great courses and the prices are something you only see at Augusta for a beer and sandwich. For selfish reasons, I hope this place isn't ever truly discovered for the remarkable course that it is but if you're lucky enough to play here, be grateful.

My 1st visit to this great course. Love the layout and history behind these great designers. Course is in great shape despite lack of rain. Green complexes are awesome, with the middle of them your best friend. $33 to walk is a steal. A must play!!
