The course is in a beautiful location along the Mackinaw river. Everything was in nice shape. It is a country course so don't expect conditions like Augusta but it is a nice relaxed place to play and enjoy the outdoors

Great little course in the middle of nowhere greens were well taken care of but the fairways are a little dry.. other than that the guy behind the counter was amazing at telling us what to Lookout for and was very professional we will definitely be coming back to golf here again 😀 👍🏻

I just played Hazy for the first time . The greens were in just as good a shape as a private course. It is dry but you get a lot of carry. It helped me birdie the first two holes . The young man behind the counter was pleasant and helpful . I may join this course next year

Absolutely terrible experience. The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional, cussing at kids and treating customers with zero respect (there is respectful ways about dealing with problems)! The course itself is in awful condition for the price you pay even though it’s the cheapest in town(there’s a reason why). Fairways are poorly maintained, and you end up losing balls even on decent shots because of how bad the layout and upkeep are. Save your time and money there are much better courses nearby that actually care about their customers and maintain their facilities properly.

I have never had as many negative experiences golfing here than any other course in the area. This course and owners deserve 0 stars but I am forced to give them 1 star. OWNERS: Myself and my friends have gotten into golf the past couple years. We are respectful young men who have no intention of disregarding any course rules and treating the courses poorly. But for some reason, on three separate instances I have been told about how when my friends were playing on this course, in the middle of their round the owners would drive out and immediately start screaming and cursing at them. The owners have no regard whatsoever about what my friends have to say. They accuse my friends of breaking a rule, which most recently included “driving on the greens”. Which no self respecting golfer would ever drive on the greens and I trust my friends 100 times over owners that have gotten bad reviews from many people, as you can see from the amount of negative reviews targeting them. No other courses in town have ever given me and my friends problems, expect for this course. THREE TIMES I’ve had friends kicked out without a refund and followed back getting barraged with curse words and insults for breaking a “rule”. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the problem isn’t with the golfers it’s with the owners. Owners who seem to forget that their course is the cheapest in town, for a reason. COURSE: Now let’s get to the actual course. Firstly, my backyard is better irrigated than the fairways and greens. You could legitimately break your wrist swinging on these fairways with how hard they are. Not everyone is tiger woods, people will chunk their shots, but here it will take a chunk out of your club rather than the dirt. The greens are no better, they are slow, patchy, and some I wouldn’t even call greens because their color doesn’t even resemble the color. You’ll see it on the 4th hole where the green is right next to the club house, a huge spot taking up nearly 1/4 of the green is just dead. You get what you pay for, which is the cheapest rate in the entire area. But hear me out, if you have any respect for yourself and your game of golf. You will spend the extra money to go to a course in Bloomington normal or any other surrounding area course where you won’t be constantly watched by the owners waiting to kick you out and steal your money.
