The layout of the course is fantastic, you feel like each hole is a private hole without being on top of the other hole as some courses have. The scenery is stunning. The course is quiet with only one hole where you can hear a road. Most courses are not as quiet. Only complaints are the tee boxes need work and a good number of ball marks on the greens were not fixed. This course could be top quality with a bit more work. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars. The fairways were quite nice and wide enough but loved the variation of each hole which played into club selection.

Very remote golf course with tree line holes. Holes #3 and #6 on the front are beautiful and tough. On the back #11 is the one they ask you about and it is a unique Par 5. The condition was ok. The greens were good.

This review is based solely on tne lousy customer service I received upon arriving on a Saturday afternoon (10/26) during a course event. Couldn't have been more than 40 cars in the entire lot. No golfers in the clubhouse or on the 1st or 10th holes as well as no golfers coming down 9 or 18. Knew it was gonna be a bad experience as soon as I entered the clubhouse and Rich yelled out "What do you want", instead of tne customary "How can I help ypu". I asked Rich if he could slip me out and his response was "Sure, after the event was over in 2 hours" Pointed out to Rich I was a single and didnt see anyone remotely near the clubhouse. Told him I drove an hour to get there and wouldn't hold up anybody. Rich wasn't having any of it. Told me I should have checked the website 1st. Asked him why he didn't answer the phone the two times I called an hour earlier. His response was I was doing other things. If you're in the area, play one of the other 6 courses that offer a much better customer service experience. No one needs to put up with or deal with a $15/hr employee on a power trip.

As some of the other reviews stated, the cart path is pretty bad in some spots, as well as the a couple of the greens. However it's still a great layout for a course and a lot of time they have discounts posted with their tee times which is 100% worth it. Hard to justify paying $59 or $69 when Boone creek or other courses in the area are way better maintained and still cheaper.

This used to be my favorite course to play on weekdays. I usually start my play shortly after noon time. I was playing by myself and got through the front nine in slightly less than 2 hours. But soon after I began the back nine, all of a sudden these 2 guys in a cart came up behind me on the tee and said, "You don't mind if we cut in, do you?" My response was, "Did you come off the front nine?" They said, "NO. We have a league today and we need to play a couple holes for practice." I never got a chance to say, "Yes", or "No." They just teed off and bolted down the fairway in front of me. Now, there wasn't anybody behind me at the time, but when I got to the number 11 green, I noticed that there were 6 guys on the 13th green drinking shots and just joking and hollering while a 4-some was standing in the fairway waiting for them to leave the green. But that didn't happen for a good 5 or so minutes while this group of 6 continued to drink shots. By now, what had been a golf round that was moving swiftly had become a test of patience. With these guys from that golf league clogging up things after butting in front of me and the line of groups waiting in the fairway on #13 for this party of 6 guys to finish drinking their shots and move on, my swift moving golf round turned into a nightmare. It took over 2 full hours finish the last 7 holes. My question is, who lets groups of 6, or more, go out on the course together? Second, since when are guys from a golf league allowed to just go out in the middle of the course and butt in wherever they want, thus holding up play for everyone else?
