Arrived 4 minutes late to tee time and was met by extremely rude pro shop attendee (was already rude to begin with when tee time was booked via phone) then cart boy told us since we are late we had to take this cart (pictured in review) as if it was some sort of punishment. Just laughed it off because this places staff and greens are ridiculously laughable yet they act like they are some kind of upper echelon prestigious club 😭 if you want a fun laid back 3 par course with a staff that isn’t stuck up go to Hickory Hills Country Club far better course too with comparable pricing

Hurts to say, but this place for the past five years at least has been run by old men who are crabby. “Two minutes late” for a tee time and they’ll haggle you. They’ll make passive comments about being late, make remarks they can’t believe we’d let our kids play too (9 years old and can actually hit the ball), and then follow you in a golf cart to constantly remind you to keep a “12 minute pace.” When approached, I asked to please stop making comments; they even had the audacity to say they never said anything negative to us. They wouldn’t have backed off us if I didn’t say something. How do I know? Cause I’ve watched them do this to other golfers in the past and I’m over it. Here’s other reasons why I’m upset. 1. My kids who can play said they didn’t want to because they said they were too bad according to the pros. I’m willing to pay their over priced fees to play because ITS A BEGINNERS COURSE. 2. We were reasonable and said we’d wait for or let people play through as we knew the course wasn’t booked for the day and acknowledged we tried to be earlier. Couldn’t control the traffic. 3. When we asked the group behind us to play through they said no because the course doesn’t allow people to play through and they were “terrible themselves.” I reminded the poor kids that it’s ok to still be learning. That’s what a park district 9 hole course should be about. To be honest they played fine and ready golf sufficient. It’s Saturday. Enjoy your weekend! 4. Do the math, 12 minutes means a four some only gets 3 minutes each per hole. PER HOLE. After all that guess who finished 13 minutes early? We would’ve been 21 minutes early if I didn’t encourage my kids who were still learning to take. Their. Time. And have fun. When I talked to the other manager, I told him about the incident and his only remark was he couldn’t comment on anything that happened between his workers on the course. Isn’t that what a manager does? Make sure they’re respectable and doing their job with some customer service? If a teen working there made a rude remark to us, would he get reprimanded? Good job Frankfort Square. Id pay more attention to these older folks ruining the games for the ones trying to get into the game. This isn’t Prestwick, Green Gardens, Olympia Fields, Silver Lakes, Cog Hill, etc. Know your place.

Love the top trace technology and it is a beautiful course! The people are nice and friendly would recommend and will be back again. Not sure if they have heaters will find out in the winter.

First time golfer, so I was a bit nervous. Tyler and Brooke made me feel so welcome! They were so friendly and answered all my questions. The course was beautiful, other golfers were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

My wife and I played at Square Links on the 4th of July with another couple. We were the last tee time of the day at 2:48. They continue to keep this little gem of a golf course in great shape. Greens and tees manicured beautifully. And the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Ed and the other staff member were there when we finished our round and even though it was a holiday and I'm sure they wanted to get home to their families....they didn't rush us out....talked with us about our golf experience at Links. Thanks Guys for a great day!!
