If I could I would give a zero star review. Carriage Greens completely and utterly screwed the pooch on my best friend’s wedding day. From poor communication and making promises that never happened to having terrible timing for dinner service to forgetting major elements of her day has made me utterly disgusted and disappointed in this new ownership and their inability to provide what’s expected for a wedding experience. Specifically, another bridesmaid and I went to inform the kitchen team to take the cake out of the fridge and set it out in the reception area so it had time to thaw/get to room temperature before needing to be cut. When we went to do this we were told this would be taken care of and too early to do yet as we were a few hours before the ceremony yet- and wouldn’t you know it come cocktail hour the cake was still in the fridge and was too hard for my friend to cut into. Furthermore, the steaks for the entire bridal party and guests were well done. My husband part of the guest tables weren’t given steak knives for more than half their meal and made do with butter knives. The mashed potatoes were hard and cold, and vegetables undercooked. They gave us about an hour with salad and threw the entire timeline off causing my friend to lay her photographed more to stay more for first dances. Finally, when uncovering the chairs and tables while cleaning up at the end of the night I found the quality of chairs were abysmal anyone and everyone who wants a clean looking wedding needs to pay more for seat covers, which is an expense that at my venue was unnecessary because the chairs and tables are nicely, polished wood and not filled with scratches and partially unfinished/worn out wood. It is easy to see this venue is after money and not after making couples, their families, and guests happy with their experience.

Brian and Adriana Broderick you ruined our golf outing. Our group will never play at your low grade golf course again. looks like the previous reviews said you ruined a wedding party that counted on you. You should fully refund them for the lousy service they received. That's the least you can do! What hasn't the Dynamic Darien duo ruined?? waiting for you to respond back to the wedding party. But I guess you and your wife don't care..... Got it.

Came with no expectations but left with lasting impression. Fairways where in perfect shape, Greens were extremely well cared for, no signs of ball marks or disease spongy soft feel, like walking on padded carpet. T boxes were also also in great shape. Ownership is doing a great job with their bar interiors. All new paint and fixtures. Well done ! I'll be back

I hosted my wedding here last weekend. I received multiple complaints from my guests about the steak being overcooked and dry, the vegetables being under cooked and hard, and the mashed potatoes being cold and hard. The late night snacks were awful too. The chicken tenders were dry and the buns on the mini sliders were stale. My guests also did not receive a steak knife until midway through their dinner and had to request one themselves (reported to me by multiple tables). My dad threw out his entire steak, and multiple guests guessed it was microwaved.

The owner/ Ranger who runs this place is an absolute joke. I understand people have bad days but seeing the latest reviews now I’m just generally concerned for the community. I was putting on hole 9 close to the turn and saw a young group of men just absolutely getting BERATEd with what seemed like racial remarks and repeatedly being accused of not paying. They demanded to see their reciepts which they showed and then then the ranger said “Either show me you dont have outside liquor or I’m gonna go through your bags myself and ill be kicking you out and calling the police. It was a bit busy so a hole was jammed up and these gentlemen were very nice to me around hole 7 offered to let us play through definietly werent drinking from what i saw they didnt even look old Enough to be. He yelled at them for bringing water bottles and said no outside beverages allowed. A water bottle? The kids left at the turn and honestly at that point I refused to play the rest of the back 9. Was absoluetely embarassing the way they treated those young men. When leaving i entered the club house and were greeted with a lady asking me “what do you want im busy im gonna need a second” will never return and please don’t bother going here i wont even get into the price and conditions of the course.
