Description

Located in Shelley, Journey's End is a budget-friendly 9-hole course that's great for beginners and casual players. The layout is flat and open, making it forgiving for errant shots. A no-pressure place to learn or practice. The kind of course where locals play barefoot and keep score in their heads.

If you’re new to golf and looking for a warm, welcoming place to learn the ropes… keep looking. This course is not it. We were only on our second-ever round of golf when the owner stormed over and gave us a lovely, expletive-laced lecture on “golf etiquette” because we weren’t moving fast enough for her liking. Nothing says “great customer service” like being yelled at by ownership while you’re just trying to figure out which club to use. The ambiance? Oh, stunning—if you enjoy the smell of stale cigarettes and the sparkle of empty beer cans across your fairway. Truly a five-star landfill experience. To make the day even more enjoyable, the owner then proceeded to follow us from a distance, like some sort of golf course hall monitor, which was super relaxing and didn’t make us feel watched or judged at all. If your idea of a good time is being micromanaged, insulted, and playing through trash, then this might just be your dream course. As for me, I’ll be taking my slow, etiquette-less self elsewhere.

Went with a group of friends, and it was more fun than I expected for 9 holes. Had a great time hitting some balls and I like that they have sand bunkers. If you're a first timer definitely get a map to navigate the holes or you will get lost. Overall great experience will go again 😁

What a fun 9 hole course! It was a fun, inexpensive place to golf. The canal may have eaten a few of my balls, so I'll be back to see if I can play 9 with just 1 ball next time. The club house was clean and the staff was friendly. 3 players, 2 carts, and 9 holes for right around 65 bucks. Not bad at all!

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!!! Went to this golf course with my group of 3, beginners with little to no experience. Owner comes up to us and says “are you just not experienced or something?! you need to get out of people’s way!” never felt more unwelcome at a golf course before. if you want to learn how to golf or plan on taking friends who haven’t golfed before, DONT COME HERE!

Doooooo Nooooooot GOOOOOLLFFFF HERRRREEEE!!!! I have had the worst experience ever when I showed up to this place. I called them the day of I went and asked if the youth on course players can come and play on a Saturday and that my dad wasn't coming either. The lady goes, " of courseeee!" I then get there(after a 30 minute drive) and the lady goes you have to pay 60 dollars to play when I thought it was just going to be 15. She then proceeded to just keep on telling me it over and over again. She then looks at the people there and tells them did any of you talk to them when I'm certain one of them did none of them didn't. I think that lady was just a pain in the rear. This just shows that their staff is super undertrained and don't know anything. If you are close to Shelley it is worth a drive to Blackfoot because those people actually know what they're doing. It's called golf. Journeys end on the other hand has got the crap show figured out if you want to enjoy a wonderful crappy day there. Never come here!
