Great golf course. Wonderful fairways and greens. Some interesting elevation changes. Last couple of holes have views. Nice sandwich at snack bar. This course is in a nice community with pretty homes at the bottom of a lava walled canyon. We saw lots of birds like white pelicans in the water. Everyone was friendly except the older woman at the pro shop. She ignored us for a long time then seemed very perturbed that we were there. Maybe it was just a bad day for her.

Played this course for about 20 years now, always has been a challenging and beautiful course!!! The only thing that i have problem with is the price really getting out of control!!!

Aug 29 25. We spent hours fishing clear lake in our fishing raft. Spotted one sick small rainbow. One dead small rainbow. Fished all the north side outlets. The on line advertising states there are 25 hundred pounds of fish at any time in the lake. After 55 years of fishing I know a productive fishery when I see one. Whatever happened to the stocks is mystery. Easy to say they could manage it like a fishery and not a golf course. The outlet is basically a death trap for any fish that get to close to the out pipe that goes directly to a turbine. Clear lake golf is ripping off the public . Prove me wrong and show us your stocking records for the past year.
