Overall, beautiful course and scenery, newer rental club set, great clubhouse and tasty quick bites. I would absolutely recommend this stop when looking for golf during your stay, if price isn’t a concern. I must say however, it was $279 for 9 holes, rental clubs and 1 logo ball… $9 for a 12oz canned beer… At that price point you do notice little flaws and exaggerate them, several ground under repair areas that weren’t growing in well, greens rolled unusually slow for this caliber course and some off-fairway areas were not maintained well.

Took the sunset golf cart tour for the third time and it was awesome again. Saw lots of Nene, a Canadian Goose that apparently got blown off course, several albatross including some juveniles. Carts and course are well maintained. Planning to check out the disc golf course too.

Was fortunate enough to play this course twice on my trip. The views are gorgeous and the course is extremely well maintained. It's definitely a tough course with many fun challenges.

Played 10:55 tee time on Saturday 10/18 and experience was worst high end golf experience I’ve had. Been playing for 40 years and resort courses all over world. Introducing my son to game so he rode for $50 which is expected, he drove cart, held my clubs, helped me look for a ball in rough. 2nd hole the Marshall said we had to leave course and accused me of allowing my son to play, which was a false accusation. I am wearing $200 golf shoes, a $200 golf shirt and just payed $350 for a tee time and a rider. Pretty sure I could swing another $300 if I wanted my son to play, but he only has two rounds under his belt. Idea was to show him what an experience at a high end resort was like, instead I’m accused of being a thief on the second hole. Marshall believed me and we kept playing but I shouldn’t need to convince a golf course of my honesty in a game that is entirely based on honesty. Confrontation ruined next 16 holes because I was so pissed off. Also, no water provided, no ball washers on entire course. I was planning on spending a couple hundred more on merchandise, glad I waited until after round. Course was in great shape, otherwise would have given it a 2. I also waited about 5 minutes on every swing because it was so slow. No starter spacing out groups. As slow as it was they should have encouraged my son to take a few swings or take a few putts on greens if nobody was waiting. If you want nice course on Kauai, play Poipu Bay or the Ocean Course at Hokuala. I even enjoyed the muni for $100 at Wailua more than Princeville

I love the chickens on the beach!!! 2 walled off snorkeling areas with amazing fish. Showers available.
