Cavendish Golf Course is a charming nine-hole, par-36 course tucked into the pines of Lanai City, Hawaii. Built in 1947 by Edwin B. Cavendish for Dole plantation workers, it remains one of the few free-to-play golf courses in the islands. With no tee times, carts, or clubhouse, the vibe here is pure old-school—show up, play, and enjoy. Locals and visitors alike appreciate its laid-back atmosphere and the rare chance to experience Hawaii golf without the high price tag.
