Description
The Kapalua (Plantation) golf course is a Regulation style course with 18 holes, measuring 7596 yards with a par of 73. The course features Celebration Bermuda grass on both the fairways and greens. Designed by Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw, it first opened in 1991 and underwent recent work in 2019 by the same architects. It is located at an elevation of 509 feet. The course has been ranked in various top lists, including Golf Digest USA's top 200 and Golfweek USA's top 200 modern courses. It has also hosted PGA Tour events such as The Sentry (1999-Present) formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with the last event played in 2025.
