Bayview Night Market – A Local Night of Food, Fun & Family in Kāneʻohe Our visit to the Bayview Night Market at Bayview Golf Park in Kāneʻohe was a night to remember! It was a planned family outing, but like any good adventure, it came with a little twist—don’t miss the Kāneʻohe exit off H3 like I did! Once you’re off the highway, it’s an easy drive into one of the most fun-filled markets on the Windward side. We arrived just before 4:00 PM, as vendors were setting up. The air was full of promise—food tents, trucks, live music, and the hum of mini golf balls already bouncing across the greens. This place has it all: 18-hole miniature golf, a zip line, and wide-open grassy space to kick back and relax. While my kids later enjoyed every minute of their mini golf round (which takes a good while to complete), we started our foodie journey by placing an order at Waialua BBQ. For just $20, we got 3 big skewers of our choice (we went with pork, teriyaki beef, and shrimp), two scoops of rice, and a basic side salad. The portion was perfect to share between me and the kids, and they even included utensils and napkins, which made eating on the go easy. We picked up three Cokes for about $7 from the outside bar to complete the meal. While that was grilling, we grabbed two giant hot dogs from Krazy Dogs—a Chicago Dog and an L.A. Street Dog, each for $13. These were huge, all-beef, and packed with toppings. They even gave us forks, and once you take a bite, you’ll know why—they’re deliciously messy in the best way. While my daughters continued playing golf, I stopped by Sugar Mami, a vendor serving fresh sugarcane drinks with tons of flavors. I went with the OG Sugarcane, served in a large cup with a big open straw. You can even get it in a reusable jar. It cost me $15, which was a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it for a refreshing taste of Hawaii. Between the variety of local food, family fun, and laid-back community vibe, this night market is the perfect spot to kick off your weekend (or make any evening feel like one). Come hungry, bring the family, play some mini golf, and sip on local flavors—because in Hawaiʻi, every day is Friday. Mahalo, Bayview Night Market! We’ll be back.

Beautiful course at a great price. The views were exceptional but best of all was the staff. Completely friendly and accommodating, thank you everyone at Bay View for making my experience enjoyable.

I had a little time on vacation and thought , what would be better than to play golf in Hawaii? I did what most people do. Google reviews and golf now. If there is an issue with Golf now. I didn’t see if a course rented clubs. Made a quick call to the shop and yes they rent and also set up a tee time. I took my son who doesn’t really golf at all but I wanted the family time. They allowed me to take him as a rider. I did not have to rent a second set of clubs. I think he hit ten shots total. The cost with two green fees, club rental and a dozen call away balls was 207.00. I just wanted to golf Hawaii and that cost compared to other courses seemed like a bargain. They had aerated the greens three weeks before we played. You couldn’t tell as the greens were smooth. They were however slow. It was like putting on shag carpet. Hit the practice green first and you’ll get used to it. Though most holes were short. They were challenging. The front nine seemed like a warmup getting you ready for the back nine. The back nine is spectacular! Not just because the holes are tougher but the views are amazing. I forgot to mention all of the mountains you see while golfing the front nine. The back you have the mountains and the ocean. If your on the fence on golfing here. Don’t be. Met some locals that were fantastic to talk to. We ran into them almost every tee box. They offered me a beer or seltzer. Thought that was great. I would call speed of play a little slow but who cares! It just gave me extra time to take in the scenery and snap some pictures. And hey who cares if it’s a par 60. For the first time in my life I shot under 70. lol. First time I’ve shot under 80. Book the tee time. Fun course and affordable!
