This is a very good golf course that requires accurate target golf. Come with lots of balls, rain gear, and a eye for the beautiful scenery! The course has hole 5 under repair so they have you play 3a and then 3b. They have a chipping and putting green close to hole 1 and a putting green next to the club house.

This place is great!! The front 9 is the most amazing views I’ve ever golfed on. The back 9 still has great views just not as magical as the front. The course is in really good shape. I am not sure on the reviews that have said it’s a bad course in terrible shape. I’m by no means a high level golfer but I do play every week and am part of a weekly league. I would play this course again and again. Highly recommend. You will not be mad. Take a handful of balls above your handicap and you will loose quite a few.

Seriously the best golf course I’ve ever been to. If you’re not a golfer you still need to go and enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. The people leaving the bad reviews for the condition of the course are crazy! Yes there are spots that need some attention but the scenery and where this place is located is just breathtaking.

The views on this golf course are breathtaking and words simply cannot describe what you will see! Every turn on the course provided a new view that could not be believed. The course is very challenging, so bring A LOT of golf balls as you will not find anything that goes off the fairway or green. The club pro was knowledgeable and gave us some tips before we played. The starters were funny and talkative, also giving tips and directions before we left on our journey. There are lots of golf courses in HI, but I cannot imagine another with the views at Royal Hawaiian.

Love the scenery of this course. Feel like I was in Jurassic Park on the front nine. Like others have said... if it's off the fairway, count it as gone so plan accordingly. Course is shorter but winds still made it challenging. Fun course. Staff was great and fun.
