Played the Palmer course yesterday. The staff were all very nice, very welcoming and accommodating. Rental clubs were very nice. Nice grass range and large chipping and putting areas. Course was in good shape for how much rain had come thru the last couple days. Some of the bunkers were wet but manageable. The greens were a bit sluggish to start but as the sun came out and the breeze picked up they got quicker. The course is a nice resort course with a good mix of easier holes and some more challenging ones. Hole 17 has the picturesque view of the ocean when on the green. It was a great day and really enjoyed playing this course!

From start to finish top class course! Driving range to tee box was amazing. Greens in Hawaii so much different but starter went over course and first hole which helped me have a great round. Fairways were perfect along with greens and course views. Amazing day and thanks o staff who made it even better. Thanks

I booked a tee time here and being that I used to spend my summers here at Turtle Bay as a child, I decided to come back as non-resident and spend money playing the golf course for the first time. The fees are outrageously high so I booked a time for early afternoon when the green fees drop a bit. My tee time was 1:30p for $225. No where on the online booking site does it state that you may not finish an 18 hole round. In addition, the site even gives you the option to book 18 holes as late as 5p. Nowhere on the booking does it warn you that you may not be able to finish your round (even at 1:30p). When we went out to play we started at our tee time and had to wait for groups in front on EVERY hole. I saw a group of 6 playing a few holes ahead. That's way too big a group to be playing when tee times are 10 min apart. Needless to say, we were starting hole 12 at 4:30p because of the wait at every tee box, and then we get a message saying we need to return the cart by 5:45p. Someone should have told us when we got the cart that it's possible we may not finish our round. A 1:30 tee time should be more than enough time to finish and yes I understand that the groups ahead of me is out of my control but when I pay $225 for a round and I can't finish my last 3 holes. That seems unreasonable to me. I would not play here again.

A beautiful course. The grounds are well manicured. The greens are fun and challenging. The carts are super nice. The staff is welcoming, even when busy. Speaking of busy, that is the only major flaw with this course. It is packed! Every time I’ve played, I have played behind slower groups in front of me. They need to cut some tee times or spread them out a bit more. Additionally the food/beverage access on the course is very slim. I’ve only seen the food cart once in the times I’ve played. Lastly, if you are coming expecting Hawaiian ocean views, you only really get that on hole 17. Overall this course is a beautiful, fun, and challenging. Just be ready to wait a bit for pace of play.

Fun course. Not too hard. Not visually spectacular at all by Hawaiian golf standards either. One hole looks at the ocean (17). The rest is pretty unremarkable. Feels like an expensive muni. Lots of ground under repair. Zero pace of play enforcement. Even with limited groups on the course, round took 4:30 because of drunk idiots ahead. Priced way too high at $285 for 18 holes and $90 for rental clubs on a Monday morning.
