My community golf club... I walk and review different parks and trails. This place has awesome scenery and great fairways, a couple lakes and the grounds are well maintained. However, I did experience some of what I felt was racism by a customer and a former employee (I wish I could remember his name)... Basically, telling me I could not walk through the course on the trail specifically MADE for walking and the rolling carts! HOWEVER, refusing to leave upon the request of what I knew was a unpleased peasant, and after checking with the front desk about the actual rules and regulations, the OWNER was extremely nice about it and made clear I was welcome there to walk or play golf. He made clear the rules, times, regulations, and none of which the peasant made claims on... and made sure I walked away happy. I appreciated his candor in the matter. This is a great place to play golf.

We’ve played here once before with no issues other than the greens not being in the best shape, but yesterday we decided to book a 3:00 tee time and play as many as we could before it got too dark. We check in and were told that we could play until we couldn’t see anymore and specifically “I hope y'all are able to play as close to 18 holes as you can”. Given that there were 4 of us, we were playing on the slower side, simply enjoying our time together with family. Well we were on the 14th hole when the same worker that checked us in drove to find us playing on the course, he completely started yelling at us and being absolutely disrespectful saying that all carts had to be in by 6:30. We would have had no problem bringing in the carts had he mentioned that when we were checking in, but he failed to mention that. He continues yelling at us because we are younger until our Dad and Grandpa pull up in the cart behind us and he completely changed his tone. We took the carts back to the clubhouse right after this and told him that he also charged us for the weekend prices instead of the weekday rates, which we weren’t going to say anything until he spoke to us that way. He was in complete disbelief when we said he charged us incorrectly and kept demanding for our receipt, however he didn’t give us one so we pulled up out charged through our bank app and he in fact did charger all 4 of us wrong, which again would not have been a big deal if he hadn’t treated us this way. He did give us 2 free rounds of weekday play for the 2 incorrect transactions which was a nice gesture, however at this point we simply do not wish to return after being treated that way.

Great time. Nice course. Friendly staff. Has some great views. It’s like a mini Stone Mountain on the back nine. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Course was fun… greens are in terrible shape mid-summer. They play extremely slow and bumpy. Played the front nine, and arrived at the clubhouse at 11:37 for some lunch. Got my food (great selection) and went to the register. The lady REFUSED to serve me, saying that the register was closed, as she made more sandwiches 8 feet away. She made me put everything back and I walked out. Food is closed at the turn… at 11:37am… weird business. Won’t be back.

Smash a vintage driver 300 yards and revel in the envy. Always more fools in need of darshing. I shot 77 btw.
