Description

Augusta's muni is blue collar golf with a storied past, affectionately nicknamed 'The Patch.' The routing is straightforward and walkable under tall pines, with strategic creeks and modest green contours. It has long served as an accessible counterpoint to its famous neighbor across town. A major renovation partnership with Augusta National (including work by Tom Fazio and Beau Welling, plus a new Tiger Woods designed short course) is underway to elevate amenities while keeping it affordable. For now, it remains a friendly, no pretension round with plenty of local soul.

Had a great time playing the front 9 at this course. The putting green was very challenging. This location hosted a great community event. I'm glad to be a part of it.

The place has a good layout but needs grass everywhere especially on the tee box. Hardly no grass on many tee boxes, mostly sand. I told my wife "I have never had to tee off out of so many bunkers in my life!"

My daughter and grandson loved playing the course!! Great staff- especially Ira and Bobby! They helped the kids meet PGA Pro Jim Dent!! It is a little patchy in areas and greens were challenging!

I’ve been playing out here since the age of 5 years old the fairways and greens have come a long way. Course is in fantastic shape l. Great job guys !!!!
