Fairways Country Club in Orlando is such a hidden gem. The course is always in solid shape — greens roll true, fairways are well maintained, and the layout keeps things interesting without being overly punishing. It’s the kind of course where you can work on your game and still have a great time. The staff is friendly and the pace of play has always been reasonable when I’ve gone. It has a relaxed, neighborhood feel but still delivers a quality round. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for an enjoyable, well-kept course in the Orlando area. I’ll be back.

Had an unfortunate experience today, this is a course me and my friends frequent often. We had a 1:30 tee time and didn’t tee off until close to 2:00 due to a group in front of us playing slow. We even called the clubhouse prior to teeing off asking if we can start on hole 10 due to the people in-front of us and we knew it would slow down the play for everyone including us and the people behind us. We got to hole 4 at around 2:30 when one of the members of the group had to take a work call. We sat in the clubhouse for 25 minutes. Then we went back out and asked a Marshall what hole we should resume on, he told us hole 6 and we said ok. We went to 6 and it was full of people waiting the same for 5. We saw 4 was empty where we left off and there was a group at the start of the hole before. We decided to play 4 and when we got to the green the Marshall drove up to us and told us we can’t be jumping around hole and that a member behind us called and complained. We told him there was people ahead and we would have been interrupting their play. Where we where no play was being interrupted however he told us that this was our last hole and we had to leave we tried to reason and understand that pace of place is important. When we returned the cart I went to the same Marshall to ask about the situation again and to apologize he said the same reason for why we where being kicked out and I again explained there was people on the holes he told us to go too I then told him the whole situation was unfair to us and it was BS that we where being kicked off for the reason given. He then went on to call me and my friends BS as I walked away. This is simply not the way to treat customers that frequently come to this course. While we understood and left the rudeness of the marshals for seemingly no reason when we just wanted to golf was uncalled for.

You cannot beat the price of this course. Lots of great wildlife, quiet beautiful views. Small shop, quick service, and had tons of reservations at the time we went. Carts are nice as well. Restrooms available throughout course.

Very basic course that winds through a manufactured home community. Greens were nice and fairways were decent. For the price, it’s a good value but probably more enjoyable for locals to play than someone who lives elsewhere in Orlando.

Gorgeous park. The lot rent is ridiculous though. I get it, your in Orlando but..it takes you 20 minutes to get out of the park onto hwy. 50. Like I said, beautiful with great amenities. At 900 to 1,300 a month, you're better off buying a house or move to the West of Disney where parks are Gorgeous also and 600 a month lot rent.
