Certainly the most picturesque of the Sandestin golf courses, given its location along the water. Greens were in very good condition, as were fairways. As far as coastal Florida courses, this is on the flatter end, so not a lot of terrain and relatively short. That said, it offers water hazards on most holes so it is absolutely a target course. You can shoot a low score if you keep your shots straight. Many players in our group didn't pull out driver on par 4s and 5s except on about 5-6 holes. Long hitters may prefer another track in the area, as there isn't as much of an opportunity to let the big dog eat. Facilities at The Links could use a face lift, if not a total rebuild. Pro shop building seems really outdated. Cart paths are a bit beat up in places. Practice green has slope towards a small water hazard, and chippers in the practice area can easily lose balls in the water if they are not careful. If scenic views, target golf, and decent greens/fairways are your goal, this course will fit the bill. Enjoy your round!

The SanDestin courses are some of my favorite in the area. Always in great condition and are nice course designs. The Links has 13 holes with water, one by the side of the road with heavy traffic. They have an iron only practice range, chipping and putting greens as well. Need to climb a few stairs to the club house, staff is very friendly.

I just played here on Tue. Dec. 23, 2025. The conditions of the course were excellent. Been coming to Sandestin for 20 years. The Links is one of my favourite courses…great views, very good conditions at a very good rate. Paid $63.99 via GolfNow which included cart. The driving range is irons only off of mats…but enough to get you warmed up. Nice practice putting green that you are also allowed to chip on. Several holes are along the bay and have spectacular views. There are two other public courses located here at the Sandestin Golf & Beach resort that are a notch above the The Links. They are The Raven and Baytowne. Be sure to add them to your list. If you are staying at any of the properties here at the resort than the pricing is slightly lower than the normal public rate off of their site…so be sure to check out GolfNow. If you get a hot deal it will be the cheapest.

Absolutely beautiful. Greens were in phenomenal shape. Very well designed course. All employees were extremely professional and helpful.

When we first got there immediately the golf bag guy helped everyone else but us then continued to give us attitude when we asked any questions about the course. As someone in the hospitality business the customer service from the employees was terrible. We were constantly disrespected and be littled. When we got to the tee box the starter gave us issues about having a rider and believed we were not given permission even though we paid for it. I’m not sure if it was our skin color or the fact they just have attitude but it seemed like they were treating everyone else nicely but us. The only person that was nice was the cart lady.
