I played a round here - for the first time - on New Year's Day 2026 with our son and two grandsons. We had originally planned to visit another course, but wildly expensive greens fees pushed us here. We had an incredibly enjoyable time (and the fees here on New Year's Day were less than half the other course)! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and renting clubs was an easy process. I should note I was a bit jealous of the left-handed set I rented - it was a significant upgrade over my personal set. The course itself was really nice - just open enough to let you stretch your driver, but with good challenges and water to keep you honest. The fairway on one hole (on the back 9) had a quite a bit of dirt and will probably need some work, but that was it for issues with the playing surfaces. In my opinion, the cart paths were quite rough, with potholes and broken asphalt in numerous places (it's the reason for the one star deduction). They need attention, but one doesn't golf on the cart paths (at least we don't intend to), so if you don't mind a few bumps here and there, you're fine. As for wildlife, there was a sizeable alligator - it appeared to be 10-12' long - on the opposite bank of one of the ponds on the back 9. So be ready to shoot pictures, and DON'T go after a ball in the water!! Overall, Oaks National was a fantastic experience for the four of us, and should we ever venture to Kissimmee again, we will schedule a tee time there.

To the new management/ownership team... KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING!! We played a fantastic round of 18 on 12/30 and the course is in better shape than we have ever seen. I've played no less than 30 rounds here over the years... It's always something that kills the day, but the price keeps us coming back. As of yesterday, the course AND courteous staff is what will bring us back. Greens, bunkers, tee box, and a fair rough length are all SIGNIFICANTLY improved. Great job! Hoping that as you likely raise the rack rate, you'll strongly consider a local resident discount with proper ID. One more note... Nice job with the expansion of offerings in the pro shop. Appreciate your efforts! Ron G. 11:17 tee time.

Oaks National Golf Club is one of those courses you can tell used to be a really nice a long time ago. Unfortunately the course and clubhouse haven’t aged all that well. The course is a tale of two nines. The front nine is dominated by water hazards and questionable upkeep. The back nine winds through woodlands and nicer homes and is more enjoyable than the front. Overall, the course is in borderline shape with thick second cut, multiple diseased greens, and average at best tee boxes. I debated between 3 and 4 stars and It’s probably a good local track to play, but I’m not sure I would go out of my way to play here again.

I spent a month in Florida (April 2024) and I had the pleasure of golfing numerous times at Oaks National. The online tee-time booking system and the informative website is really nice and convenient. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a good morning from either Julie, Michelle or Charlie. You couldn't ask for a more friendly group. They treated me like a member from minute one. The clubhouse is great, fully stocked with whatever you need. The course, overall, was good. Are some tee boxes a bit rough? Sure. Are some spots on the course needing a tad of attention? Sure. But there's always groundscrew members out there doing work, so they are working at it. You're paying $35 for 18 and a cart, so anyone complaining about these minor things should go pay $100+ somewhere else. The course has its fair share of challenging Sand traps and water hazards that are strategically placed throughout so it's not always just grip and rip. You have to actually use placement. Overall, I LOVED this course. I WILL be back, I WILL recommend it and I can't thank Julie, Michelle and Charlie enough!!!

Played on Jan 1, 2036, and greens and tee boxes are in great shape. Very challenging course, so accuracy is more important than how far you are able to hit the ball. Highly recommend if you are ready to test your golf game and see how good you actually are.
