Really disappointed in the course conditions. The layout and shapes are nice, but overgrown grass into bunkers, completely dead tee boxes, and horrible greens that were woefully slow. Absolutely not what I expected for a $130 round. Pro shop staff fell short in welcoming like I would have expected, and after 5 the staff disappears. Practice facilities also leave you wanting more. I will say the employees at bag drop, starter, and beverage cart attendant were very friendly. If you’re driving 40 minutes from Orlando, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Here’s a straight-up honest review of Falcon's Fire Golf Club focusing on condition and current player experiences — especially from golfers saying the course isn’t in great shape right now: 🏌️‍♂️ Course Condition — What Players Actually Say Many golf reviewers and locals disagree with the marketing hype — golfers report conditions aren’t always great: Some recent player reviews specifically say the course is “not in great condition”, and that overall turf quality and greens are below expectations right now. One reviewer noted poorly maintained greens and areas that “could do with some TLC”, making the experience less enjoyable. Older reviews mention issues like terrible range ball condition and goop on greens, which can affect overall play quality on the course. 🏌️‍♂️ Typical Praise Still Exists For context, some golfers still enjoy the course layout and staff: Others describe it as having enjoyable fairways and a solid layout for public golf in Orlando. TripAdvisor reviews still contain positive feedback on staff and overall experience, even if conditions vary. 📌 Bottom Line Review Summary Good if: You just want an affordable round while in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Not great if: High-quality course conditions (smooth greens, perfectly maintained fairways) are important to you — several golfers rate the playing surfaces as below par compared to other local courses. Verdict: Mixed reviews on condition — it’s playable, but many golfers feel the course needs better maintenance and isn’t living up to its “premier” claims right now.

I, probably like many of you, read mixed reviews of this golf course. I wasn’t sure what to expect but figured we were squeezing this round in as a bonus on the day before our golf trip started in earnest. Maybe to help others stuck in a similar “to do or not to do” scenario, I figured I would leave a review. Upsides: Easy check in and parking Competitive rate compared to other local courses The beverage cart attendant and her colleague were courteous and gracious. We saw them with the perfect frequency. Generally reasonable pace of play but I will talk more about this below as I think this was a coincidence more than something done well by management Good selection of logo apparel in the pro shop A nice warmup bargain package - food, beer, and range balls for $18 Downsides: Course conditions were serviceable at best including the following: 1) recently punched greens without warning or a discount; 2) many of the greens throughout the round had substantial areas of dead grass covered in top sand, some even marked as ground under repair though not all and this was the biggest playability issue; 3) numerous totally burned out tee boxes that were akin to playing from thinly sanded bunkers but this alone would not have been a deal breaker; 4) large areas of dead or diseased fairway that made for very questionable lies. Pace of play on the back nine really bogged down without us seeing any marshals. We made the turn in 2:05 which is fine but the back nine stretched on for 2:45 with the group in front of us even dropping extra balls in green side bunkers. Management can’t be responsible for that but some policing to move groups should be standard. Pro shop staff were a bit surly. It seemed like I was inconveniencing them by checking in as if I was groveling to get a tee time at Shinnecock. For a place that probably makes a substantial potion of revenue on visiting golfers, a modicum of customer service mentality would be expected and appreciated. All in all, worth it if you need to squeeze an extra round in or have no other options but this course is not a contender with the other highly regarded, manicured tracks in town. We paid about $150 a player and I think $80 would have been a fair price. I hope this helps those considering.

If you are going to charge 130 for a round, those greens had better be perfect or at least good. Otherwise you're just robbing me. And that's what Falcon Fire did... rob me. Because if I had seen the course before I played, I would have walked out at half the price. Virtually every green had surfaces of pure dirt or bare sand and the geniuses put the flags near the bare spots in many cases. Plus they were running at about a 7. I had to use a 7 iron from 6 feet twice and still left it short. I also expect the tee boxes not to be shredded. It was like a game to find a spot where you weren't standing in a sea of divots. They looked like a roided-up body builders back. Further, the tees anywhere near trees were covered with leaves, weeks old, like an ancient woodland tomb. I met Bilbo Baggins with the Fellowship on a quest at the 7th tee. I'm sure it's in better shape other times, but the mere fact that they have the gall to charge that much in that shape means they don't respect their customers. I will never return.

Course was dirty littered with beer cans and cigarette butts. No one raked the sand traps. Often times the course was water logged, even though it hadn’t rained recently. Aggressive and rude staff. Charged an additional fee because we had 3/4 people for our tee time. Would not recommend. Sunset was beautiful tho 0.5 stars
