My husband, Wesley (Ted), and I moved here in 2020. The pandemic closed everything down for a couple years right after we moved in. We love our home on the lake and once the activities started up again, we began enjoying events at the clubhouse and being able to use all the facilities. We were snowbirds for a couple years, but are now full time and happy we made the decision to move here!

My wife and I moved to the community in 2017 and really enjoy the events and activities that is provided. Pools(one resident only) bocce, tennis, pickleball, horseshoe courts and shuffleboard along with a 9 hole par three golf course that is free for residents are all places we’ve met new friends. A little older so one star off for repairs that is expected for its age.

My wife and I had a block home built that was finished in 2023. Our lot is on a pond and looks wonderful. Great place to be.

When COVID hit my company sent everyone home to work. Eventually the building was sold, and everyone became "mobile employees". Since my wife was retired, we decided to "mobile down to Florida" where we found Spanish Lakes Country Club Village. What a hidden gem! We love it here and I have the best of both worlds working from home within a retirement community. Golf, Swimming, Tennis, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Bocce Ball, Pickle Ball, Pool Tables, Longevity Room, Shows, Clubs, Trips, Bingo, and let's not forget the Cantina with the best food at unheard of prices. Best of all Stella and I get to take rides in our golf cart every day and bark at squirrels.

We moved in after the tornadoes. CBS home is top quality, in past 5 years we have had a new Ryan home and new Adam’s home. This is by far much better. The community is great. Everyone has been very friendly. Daily lunch is available for less than $8!! Lots of opportunities to folks and do things.
