A beautiful club with big changes ahead to enhance our golf and dining experience. The best part however, is the members and the wonderful friendships that continue to develop year after year. Wonderful, fun, and caring people make this the best golf club in southwest Florida!

The clubhouse was clean, and the pro shop was well stocked with modern golf clothing brands. The staff and GM were friendly and took time to greet us. The clubhouse was clean and tidy, and the food was good. The course was very well maintained and fun to play. If you’re not a great ball striker, bring extra golf balls, because there is lots of trouble to get into. The greens putted very well! I can tell they took great care to remove as much of the grain as possible to ensure smooth putting. Thank you for the hospitality! Even the gators are friendly :)

While visiting our grandparents this past weekend, we had a disappointing encounter at the gate. The tall older caucasian man on duty asked for our names and then immediately followed with, ‘Are you housekeeping?’ Considering my mother had just given her (Hispanic) name, the assumption felt racially motivated, which makes the comment even more inappropriate. The correct and professional approach would have been to ask our relation to the homeowners. The community itself is lovely, but the ignorance, lack of professionalism, and undertone of racial profiling from that particular gate attendant left a very sour impression.

Crown Colony is one of the nicest country club around to play golf, make new friends to and socialize play with. Staff at all level are very attentive and responsive. In my experience fairways are well maintained and greens are fast and impeccable. Anyone interested should consider a practice round before making a country club selection. With upcoming renovations it’s going to be one of the best in this area.
