You're really not going to find a more beautiful course or a friendlier staff anywhere! And if you hit the poolside cafe you gotta get the poke bowl!

I am writing this review to share a serious concern regarding membership representation and policy enforcement at Bonita National Golf Club. Prior to purchasing my condo, I had a direct conversation with the Director of Membership and specifically asked whether my father and I would both qualify for memberships if he was listed on the deed. I was clearly told that this would not be an issue as long as he was on the deed. Relying on that representation, I proceeded with the purchase. My father is legally on the deed exactly as advised. After closing, the Board informed me that my father would not be granted a membership because we “do not live together,” citing the bylaws. This requirement was never disclosed during the pre-purchase discussions. Had this condition been clearly communicated, it would have materially impacted my decision to buy in this community. Each condo unit is allocated two memberships for spouses, and all owners pay the same purchase price and dues structure. However, as an unmarried owner, I am effectively being limited to one membership despite owning the same type of property and paying the same financial obligations. The result is unequal access to benefits based solely on marital or living status. At a minimum, policies should be applied consistently and disclosed transparently prior to purchase. Changing or reinterpreting eligibility after closing places buyers in an unfair position and undermines trust in the community’s leadership. Future buyers should obtain all membership eligibility criteria in writing before making a purchasing decision. Very disappointing experience.

Very nice day at Bonita National. The course is nice and offers a wide range of tee options for every skill level. The black tees, at almost 7,000 yards, present a stout challenge. The condition of the course and maintenance of the grounds was very good. The parking was easy, the pool and pool areas looked inviting, and people were out playing tennis and enjoying the amenities. We had lunch and drinks in the restaurant on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse and both were excellent.

I live in this community. Great place. Main pool is fun and large, great poolside Cafe. 3 restaurants. I'm just a social member, so I can't review golf, but this is a typical country club getaway community east of i75 (Bonita Beach road, ends in this community going east). We have gators, turkeys, bobcats, and other cool wildlife. I'm relatively young living here, so many are retired. Having a 14 yr old, there isn't alot for kids. But otherwise, it's safe and secure. Food is good. Service is good. Picked a great place to live.

Awesome Community and Country Club! A tremendous Gordon Lewis golf course with a beautiful country club and resort pool. 3 restaurants and a great workout facility! This is an active community with Golf, Tennis and exercise programs! Multiple styles of houses located in the community and surrounded by a nature preserve. Mother Nature lives here! Tons of birds and other wildlife! This is a quiet area unless the tree frogs are serenading you!
