Bethany Bay is a fun, coastal-feeling par-3 experience tucked into a residential community along the Indian River Bay. It’s a 9-hole layout that leans on scenery and shot-making, with ponds and wetlands affecting play on the majority of holes. The course is built to be approachable, but it’s not mindless—club selection and accuracy still matter, especially when the breeze comes off the bay. It’s an ideal “vacation round” because it’s shorter, faster, and easy to pair with beach plans. Great for families, beginners, and good players looking for a sharp iron-and-wedge tune-up.

This course is officially banned by the LSRA for being top 3 worse golf courses on the east coast. Greens were so bad I would rather putt in the Sahara dessert because I would be better off then shooting par on this course. The course layout is beyond fathomable for an average golfer, who has shot below 80 at multiple courses. Not to mention when we were on the last hole, there was a dead fish on the greens.

We bought a small condo in 2020 and it's been a great experience. The golf shop has some merchandise now, our current golf maintenance is awesome and it looks great. We love to practice on this course and play as members. Sometimes bug spray is a necessity especially around the 7th hole. Walkable and fun to play but bring extra balls.
