Booking Sanctuary for our wedding was the BEST decision we made. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, and it speaks for itself in photos, but the staff there truly makes the experience unforgettable. At every step of the planning process I was super confident that our wedding dreams were going to come to life, and as someone with no planning experience and no outside planner, I was so relieved to have been paired with Tamara - who genuinely went above and beyond before and on our wedding day to make sure everything went seamlessly. Even when I called her crying the week of about possible rain on our big day, she calmed me down and helped me strategize back up plans, and never made me feel bad for having a meltdown. I would recommend everyone consider Sanctuary for their wedding needs, because booking with Sanctuary means booking total peace of mind. Also - I still have guests talking about how amazing the food was!

My husband and I got married at the Sanctuary in March 2025 & it could not have been more PERFECT. The team went above anything we could have ever asked for or imagined. We worked with the lovely Tamara who is hard to describe in words. She is incredibly kind, tender-hearted, trustworthy hard working, comforting and down to earth & at the same time such a strong leader, so organized, meticulously detailed and fierce in her commitment to make the bride & groom proud. The team handled every detail seamlessly & our family was able to relax and be present during the wedding because we knew we could rely on Tamara and her team to pull off every detail. I could not recommend the Sanctuary enough. When you are touring venues & prices, you may be tempted to think it would be easier to book a venue & then handle catering, decor, hiring servers and other details on your own. Please do not make that mistake - you already have so much on your plate! I love how much is included at the Sanctuary & that they work closely with excellent partners, so the bride & groom are not left trying to figure out how to make sure the teams are communicating and working together. Tamara was ALWAYS available to us and eager to keep up on track. She is one of the greatest assets to the Sanctuary & I hope she knows what a LIGHT she is to everyone she meets. It felt like a 5-star wedding & our guests raved about how special the wedding was.

WOW!! Booking Sanctuary was the best and easiest decision we made in the wedding planning process. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the time it will save you in being such a full-service venue. By having Tamara as our day-of coordinator, we saved thousands on a wedding planner. The venue itself, the mountain views, the gorgeous florals everywhere you look, the lighting in the pavilion - it is simply perfect. The flexibility of this place is unmatched - every detail was customizable and they will work hard to make your day perfect. Our guests had an incredible time. The food was so delicious, the signature cocktails were amazing and they worked with us to customize them (highly recommend the espresso martinis!!), and every staff member was kind, professional, and made us and all our guests feel like VIPs. I cannot thank Tamara and Sanctuary enough for giving us the perfect wedding day - we would not change a single thing!

Tamara and the entire team at the Sanctuary delivered our dream wedding! The entire process from the first tour to the very last detail was extremely easy, clear, and well organized. They made enjoying our wedding day possible. Every detail was thought through and executed to perfection. We had almost 200 people at our wedding and everyone is still talking about it almost 5 months later! The grounds, the food, the cocktails, all of it. Tamara made it SO easy for us. We had our own coordinator for our wedding day, and Tamara and her were able to work together so well and so seamlessly - I really can't say enough! Just two human beings officially call this place home — Dave and Gail Liniger, the mad geniuses behind RE/MAX, who built this private Eden not for themselves, but as a launching pad for charity. If you've played here, chances are it was for a good cause — veterans, children, cancer research, rescue dogs, wounded horses, maybe even wounded golfers. Who knows. It all counts. There’s no tee sheet. No starter. No crowd of Range Rovers jostling for valet. You don’t "book" The Sanctuary — you get invited, like some kind of spiritual calling. And once you’re inside the gates, it hits you — the wildlife isn’t just decoration. It’s part of the ecosystem. Deer cross the cart paths like they own the place. Bears leave paw prints in the bunkers. I saw elk footprints on the green, like some ghost tournament had finished just before dawn. And the course itself? Jim Engh must’ve been possessed when he designed this thing. It’s dramatic, defiant, and full of elevation changes that make your knees question your choices. Tee shots fall out of the sky like missiles. Greens hide behind canyons. It’s not just a round of golf — it’s a high-altitude psychotropic experience delivered one hole at a time. This is golf the way it was meant to be played. It’s beautiful. It’s brutal. And it truly is a Sanctuary.
