Last time I was here the course was under renovations. This time no renovation and it was in fantastic shape. The fairways were rolling smooth and the greens were quick. The check in was smooth. There was plenty of space on the range and the starter was fantastic. My only problem was the foursome of chuckleheads behind us who hit into us on several occasions. But it was nice to see the Ranger clearly visible and he did what needed to be done. What the group behind us didn’t see was the two groups aged of us were right in front of us and we had nowhere to go. We were also paired with a newbie and everyone needs to learn sometime. Although new he had many nice shots. This was round one of two for the day and it was a great way to start the day. I would definitely play here again and this is a must visit if in the C-Springs / Southern Denver area.

Great course, first time playing it today. It was a little more difficult than I was expecting. Then again I’m not scratch player. Greens were fast, hole hazards varied throughout the 18 holes. Hope 15 has a lot of water. Overall enjoyed playing this course, and highly recommend it if you live near castle rock. Will say it was a lot more expensive than I expected, but they have risen their prices since everyone is really trying to get into golf. I’ll def be back to see if I can beat my score from today.

The course was in really good shape. The staff was very friendly. The pace of play was really good. And the pricing was decent for a weekend considering the shape of course was in. My only gripe are the GPS carts which can be a pain in the butt but the overall experience was great. The last 3 holes are a killer for sure.

Pace is absolutely trash. We played in the middle of the day on a Friday and we were right up on a foursome and another foursome was directly behind us. We felt like we were rushing to get off the green but then having to wait around to tee off or hit because the people in front of us were having to wait for the people in front of them. The ranger came by multiple times but I’m not sure if they’re even doing anything to improve the pace because it was a problem from the minute we tee’d off on hole 1 all the way to the very end. The course was not in good condition and it was a very challenging course with very narrow fairways and awful greens. We honestly had a terrible time and will never be coming back here. We’ve had pace problems before at our home course (Red Hawk) but it usually doesn’t impact us until the back 9. I’ve never seen such atrocious pace management.

Love this course as it’s only a couple miles from the house. The marshal that was working today 7/24 was insufferable. The tee times are spaced 9 minutes apart and he was relentless; bugging our group multiple times telling us we were so far behind. We finished the round at 4 hours 10 minutes and the dude just left a sour taste in our mouths. The new renovations are great and course was in good shape but get it together. Probably won’t come back this season.
