The Club at Pradera

location icon 5225 Raintree Dr,

Description

Set in the rolling hills of Parker, The Club at Pradera offers a rare blend of rugged beauty and refined design. Jim Engh's layout features wild shaping, split fairways, and signature greens that challenge even low handicappers. The Irish links-inspired aesthetic makes it feel unlike any other course in the state. It's a young, energetic club with a vibrant social calendar and family-friendly approach. Pradera is bold, dynamic, and anything but boring.

We recently visited The Club at Pradera to check out the venue and grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from both a service and food quality standpoint. I ordered the steak dip (French dip style) and my wife had the fish tacos, both with truffle fries. The fries were soggy, tasted like they were cooked in old burned oil, and clearly not fresh. My sandwich was overly greasy, lacked flavor, and the au jus was essentially just oil—I had to return it. The fish tacos were underwhelming: basic tortillas with battered cod and a bland, runny white sauce, no garnish, not even a lime wedge. My wife, who is pregnant and was quite hungry, managed to eat the tacos but left the fries untouched. When we asked for the check, we were surprised to be approached by the manager, who informed us—rather bluntly—that the club is private and we weren’t allowed to dine there. There was no signage at the entrance indicating this, and instead of addressing our concerns about the food, her focus was on making sure we knew we weren’t welcome. Her tone was dismissive and lacked any sense of hospitality. It’s unfortunate because we were exploring the area and were genuinely interested in getting to know the club. But with poor food quality and a lack of basic customer care, it’s safe to say we won’t be returning—or recommending it to others.

Place is awesome! The golf staff and golfers were extremely polite and hospitable. The golf course is totally awesome; not easy and not hard. Had a blast playing the course. Food at the clubhouse and the bar and restaurant workers are so friendly and helpful. Definitely going back.....

DON'T JOIN! You can't get tee times because they oversold the membership by 100. They are not counting junior members against the cap. The people and course are great. The ownership and senior management are horrible.

This private course combines the best of Irish-style links golf with the natural beauty of the Colorado landscape. Designed by Jim Engh, Pradera features rolling fairways, risk-reward holes, and imaginative green complexes. The club atmosphere is welcoming, with excellent dining, fitness, and social offerings. While it's a more exclusive experience, the combination of course design and community makes Pradera one of the standout golf clubs in the region.

Beautiful course. Was able to play from a auction item that I purchased. Staff was very friendly. The course is very challenging, but was in amazing condition. Pace of play was moving right along. If I have the opportunity again to play I will.
