For how much it costs to stay here I expected it to be a little nicer. The room was so warm even while running the air conditioner. The air conditioner doesn’t have a thermostat and you can control when it turns on for you. There were hardly any outlets and only one trash can. For a hot springs there should be more places to hang towels and wet swimsuits but there was only one space on the back of the bathroom door. The beds were pretty firm and uncomfortable but the towels were really soft. The location is absolutely beautiful!! Unfortunately the hot springs were nice but the pools were kinda dirty and we seen people eating pizza inside the hot springs in the water. Wish we would have had a better experience staying here. We would not recommend staying here to anyone nor would we come back to stay ourselves.

Pretty disappointed with our stay at Twin Peaks. The hot springs, pools and saunas are wonderful and well maintained. They are obviously the focus. Our room was clean, but dilapidated. For the price of a one night stay here, I would expect a much nicer room. See attached images- holes in comforter, tub is cracked, toilet cover is the wrong size, refrigerator cabinet is falling apart, among other things. The mattress was so old that there is a flat spot in the center where the pillow top is literally flattened. They seriously need to look at making improvements to the rooms. We were told dinner was available on site. When we went in to the Pizza restaurant, we were told they were too busy to serve us (three tables seated) and to go to the restaurant downstairs. We went downstairs and were told to sit anywhere- there were plenty of tables available. We sat down and no one ever came to wait on us (sat there for 20 minutes). Finally, returned to our room and ordered online for delivery to our room. They tack on a 20% gratuity for delivery orders as well. We found that everything at this hotel is “nickel-and-dimed”. They even put a post card in the room listing the cost of items that have obviously been taken in the past. We found this to be very tacky. Overall, we were very happy with the hot springs but very disappointed with the hotel and service.

Beware!!! We are staying in rooms 221 and 220. We are horrified! They were both incredibly dirty, they have clearly not been updated since the hotel opened. The AC unit made a noise that sounded like someone running metal over an old fashioned radiator, but the room was too hot to leave it off (no sleep for us). Also I was hanging off the wall. Even the old fan made a loud noise! There was crumbling dry wall in the bathroom, grout coming away on bathroom tile. The bath in one of the rooms would not plug so we had to use a cup to keep water in it. This room was not worth a quarter of what we paid. It’s sad that this hotel gets to stay outdated, un repaired, filthy and charge that of an outstanding hotel all because they are in the tourist hot spot and know guests will come as they need a place to stay. Absolutely disgraceful!

We stayed here over Spring Break to celebrate our anniversary, it was absolutely perfect. The service was fantastic, the breakfast really good, the rooms were comfy, and the hot springs and the vapor caves are wonderful. We had a great time and Jordan the manager was absolutely wonderful. The second night that we were there we were soaking in the hot Springs and it was overcast and I jokingly told Jordan that he forgot to turn on the stars. Well, the next night, I don't know how he managed it but he turned on the stars and it was absolutely spectacular.

Edit after owners response: Not taking accountability or responsibility of having CLEARLY moldy bathrooms (demonstrated in the video and photo posted) by saying it’s just the “wallpaper pattern” tells me everything I need to know about the owners and the cleanliness of not only the rooms but probably the pools too. If you care about your health, just don’t go here. Original review: Warning: we didn’t notice until after a few showers because the design on the wallpaper but the walls were covered in black mold. When brought to the attention of the front desk no partial refund offered for staying two nights in a room with black mold. Just said they’d call maintenance. Also, if you order online pickup from the restaurant on premises, they will add a 20% gratuity even though you’re picking up. One of the reviews talks about how they try to nickel and dime you here and I definitely felt that. THAT SAID, the pools were very nice and it was extremely scenic. Nice that they stayed open until 10. Sauna was great. Steam room smelled a little funky, but nice. The breakfast had a lot of options and nice atmosphere. The food at the mine shaft restaurant was in fact delicious. I’m giving it a 3 stars for that.
