Well maintained course; however, the wife and I went on a Tuesday for our first round there and were surprised to find out that both women’s and men’s leagues were playing that day. Our 9 hole round took us 4.5hrs to complete. EXTREMELY backed up play…and the players behind us were sitting on our tee box as we were teeing off…didn’t give us any respect/space. Why not just block out the day and let the leagues play? Wasn’t told starting play was on the 10th hole either. A few days prior I called in to see if certain wedges were available and was told no, only to find out they actually were available and in stock. We got a bucket of balls to hit before our round—ball box was locked mid-day. Had to wait for an employee to open it up, then he locked it again immediately after retrieving our bucket…weird! To top it off…the clubhouse smelled like sewage. I know this was only one experience, but we are not impressed at all. Awful experience…may try again, may not.

Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course is one of the premier golf courses in and around Colorado Springs. Our senior golf group plays the course regularly. The groundskeepers always maintain the course in fantastic condition year round. The staff is always friendly and accommodating in the pro shop, and the cost for civilian golfers playing 18 holes is a bargain. My only complaint would be that the snack bar closes early during the off-season.

Very nice Course for the price with beautiful scenery! Golf now app didn’t mention we needed day passes to get to the course as it’s on a military base- good thing I read other google reviews or we wouldn’t have been allowed on the base for our t off time. Also served me the worst burger of my life at the golf course concession stand- dry, overcooked, and with a bad attitude! Hire new concession workers and order better burger patty’s and you will sell 10 x as many!

Great course club house service is starting to turn around too. New workers are usually helpful and pleasant over difficult and rude.

This is a beautiful course! Taken care of with a very nice staff. There are plenty of restrooms & water as well as the carts being brand new! The Cheyenne Shadows app is also a great way to keep score & see the lie of the whole you are playing.
