Description
Tucked three blocks from downtown, Eaton Country Club blends small town charm with a surprisingly strategic 9 hole layout. Dating to the late 1920s and attributed to Scottish born pro Alex "Nipper' Campbell, it carries the feel of Golden Age Midwest golf in miniature. The course is compact but varied, with doglegs, a few well placed bunkers, and greens that reward careful angles. A practice range and putting green support regulars who want to sneak in reps before a loop. It's the kind of course where the staff knows your name and members play more golf because everything is easy and close.
